I would love it! If they have enough good songs for it, well they can go ahead and do it!

no, i wouldnt like to see them do it, cos it means if they have say 2 albums worth of songs on the one album they would only have one tour for it. were as if they realised 2 albums, they would tour twice.. i really dindt explain that well.. but i hope you know what im getting at!..

it all depends on the quality of the material. theres no point in releasing a 30 track double album if half the songs aren't up to scratch. if they have the material or a concept behind the album (a la Floyd) then it would be worth doing
personally i can't see it. and why bother really? just release one album one year and another the next. it used to be that bands released albums whenever they wanted - now it seems like bands can only release one album every 2/3 years.

No.
i don't think its the right thing to do these days. I just don't think its worth it. If the overall album is bad, then the few good songs will go unnoticed and will go to waste. Also, if the songs are good, then spread it over two albums. It just means more money, more publicity and more touring. Also, the price would probably be higher, and that means that most of the north american market wouldn't touch it.

I think they should do what Metallica and Guns n' Roses did and just release a double album as two separate albums. Like the "Use Your Illusion" albums and "Load" and "Re-Load". They should record two albums worth of material and either release it together (if the record all the songs within the due date of the album) or just release one album and work on the next album and then tour after the second one is released.

How about a new album with 1 cd being the new tunes and the second, a dvd with a documentry on it and extra stuff. I would probably forgive the band if they gave us that. I would definately wait (probably because we aint got a choice) till 2005.

a very cool idea but you know that oasis is not the kind of band that sells gimmicks along with its albums.
