Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to go into the details of an alleged fall-out with Thierry Henry. Reports claimed skipper Henry stormed out of training on Friday after being told he would not play against Spurs.
Wenger said: "It is very difficult to speak about that because first I want to sit down with him and tell him what I expect from him.
"He's not ready to play, he is tired, he needs to fully recover and he cannot expect to walk straight back in."
The 29-year-old Henry missed the 3-0 win over north London rivals Tottenham with a neck problem that could also see him miss the derby against Chelsea on 10 December.
Henry earlier admitted to being "disappointed" after being told he was not ready to return to first-team action against Spurs.
But skipper and manager also seemed at odds over the club's plans for the January transfer window.
Henry had said: "The depth of our squad is nowhere near the others. Arsene will try and land a few bargains in January."
But Wenger said: "I will not be signing anybody in January. We will play for the rest of the season with the players we have."
When asked why Henry might have suggested otherwise, he answered: "I don't know, you should ask him."

Wenger: Titi, you need a rest, get yourself sorted son. Henry: Fuck off!
Much ado about nothing.
