Last time the Scots faced France at home in a qualifying match, the mighty Tartans waltzed to a 2 goal victory. Unfortunately that was 17 years ago, and the recent since reads: Scotland: P4 W0 D0 L4 F1 A12 Pts0 *********************************** Give 'em hell boys, my blood is your blood and in victory we shall together stand tall(!) Eat those damn frogs alive!

Unfortunately that was 17 years ago, and the recent since reads: Remember it well, pishing down with rain and Mo Johnstone scored an absolute pearler of an over-head kick. There was probably about 100,000 inside Hampden that night. Only about half that these days, but still a great place for a big game, the atmosphere will be amazing.

We got battered in the 1st half, but held on well. Thought we more than held our own in the 2nd half and got the all important goal. Havent heard an atmosphere inside a football ground like that for many a year. the place was fucking rocking. Wattie Smith is a legend

I humbly eat my words! Great result for Scotland and the're top of the group. Still think the're going to have trouble qualifying, though the've made the best start possible!
