So what do you all really think about it? I've heard all the cliches b4 I got into xoccer this year cos of the WC and enjoyed it Wish I had a channel that would shoe some games American football has many strategies and is quite a complicated game to be honest. Its not just a bunch of big guys running into eachother For me I enjoy the college and high school games the most They are not playing for money and truly love the sport But i do enjoy the fantasy aspect of the NFL and my Minnesota Vikings

it's great fun to watch as a fan because very play something exciting is going on never was able to get into high school football because my school sucked, and my college doesn't have a team, but I enjoy watching other college teams play and of course the Packers when they aren't sucking.
Watching the Notre Dame game right now and they're kicking Penn States ass.

has to many stoppages for me, if it was continuous then it would be a good sport.
theres also no need for the helmets hey probably cause more injury's than they prevent.

no way they use to not play with helments and when they switched over there was and drastic decline in head injuries

I've tried, watching and playing, and i just don't like it, not for me, i soppose theres just a lack of skill or natural brilliance, and more about stradegy, which takes away any beauty...
my 2 cents, more ignorance than opinion

no way they use to not play with helments and when they switched over there was and drastic decline in head injuries they don't wear helmets in rugby and rugby is a far more dangerous sport.

Rugby is for mentalists!!!
I agree with Ross. The game stutters, it doesn't flow and it just frustrates me.

Players of American football call footy the game for pussies. Yeah well lets line ourselves with pads and jump in some mud. I like the sport but I can never watch a game start to finish just sitting on the couch. I'd have to get up. Drink. Eat. Nap. Kasabian. Oasis. Radiohead. Check ESPN two hours later for the score. My school has won the state championship the past 7 years in a row. I play footy. So you know who gets the attention.
