It's all about a level playing field. The rules state you're not allowed take EPO, and therefore rule-abiding competitors aren't taking it. If she takes it, then she's gaining an unfair advantage.

However, if the rules are changed it's an altogether different matter. But that isn't the case here.

I reckon she's guilty as sin, but got away on a technicality.
