CARSON, Calif. (AP) -- WASHINGTON (AP) -- Freddy Adu scored on a breakaway in the 44th minute to help D.C. United beat Scottish Premiere League champion Celtic FC 4-0 in an exhibition game Wednesday night.
Jamil Walker, Bobby Boswell and Andy Metcalf added second-half goals, with Boswell scoring seconds after Celtic's Kenny Miller was sent off in the 65th minute for a dangerous challenge.
Celtic will play Chivas of Guadelajara in East Rutherford, N.J., on Friday night before finishing its tour against the New England Revolution next Wednesday
