Lately I've been feeling like I've felt before Dreaming of the perfect score - I'll keep on dreaming Been brought up on stories that my father told Only time the boys struck gold - and I weren't born yet
All I've ever known is a long walk home and dissapointment Time and time again always the nearly men but I'll just keep on dreaming.
Will it be a 4-4-2, that brings the trophy home to you Only thing I'll ever do for sure is sing it for England Will it be a 3-4-3, that brings the trophy home to me Only thing I'll ever be for sure is singing for England
I don't know why you make me feel this way I'm getting older I should know better that's what they'll say
We're gonna win it

you fool, of course i lived in London I lived in Hampstead. went to Highbury a few times to watch Arsenal. One of my friends lived right next to the stadium, but moved a few blocks away to Highbury Hill. ASK Pizza was my fav place to eat. I knew the owner, Sam. My family thought he was just a waiter, but later realized he owned the place. Wonder if he still does? Regents Park was a favourite of mine. Also loved the London Zoo. Thorpe Park was also fantastic, loved the water slide, visible at the entrance with the boat at the top. Went to Alton Towers once, it was ok. enjoyed the friendly cab drivers too - so talkative lol. My house was a typical London victorian house -- 4 floors, but not wide, small city garden, but decent enough for a 8 yr old to kick the football around with mates, but would always destroy the flowers and the ball would always go over to the neighbors garden lol, good times. running through the sprinklers was also fun on those rare hot summer days in London. The TV channels such as Channel 1 (which wasnt on ch 1 for me), BBC, SkySports, ITV, and the shows on them that only the Brits had, i believe: News, Match of the Day, soccer AM, Sooty, Eek the Cat, East Enders etc. Loved walking to school too. Every day i would walk back with my best friend, who im still VERY good friends with, and we would stop at the newsagent, which was called Greeting Cards (dont know what its called now), and pick up some sweets (as we Brtis call it). My fav was either Opal Fruits (now Starbursts) or a Mars Bar (whcih i cant find in America much). And how can I forget Harrods. And all the other places to eat such as Tootsies and Pizza Express. I was fuckin 10 yrs old when I left, and still remember all that. I wish i was still there. Must be fuckin mega being a teen/young adult in London, what with the drinking age lower, clubs, pubs, picaddily circus, footie matches, concerts, just overall an awesome social life. .I really dont know whats making you question what ive said, but whatever. Of course I cling on to my past life. I love London. I want to be known as a Brit, not a Yank. I'm moving back when I can, prob within the next 10 yrs (after Uni/Grad school...depending on when I can afford to, obv). Im sorry, but London kicks the crap out of anywhere in America. It's a mega city, and i miss it lots. I fuckin hate my parents decision to move. fuckin hate it. Do you know how hard it is to keep your old friends in a different country for 8+ yrs? sooo fh hard, and im doin a damn good job of it. question me again and see if i dont rinse ur fuckin ass one more time, ya tosser Fuck sake, they didn't ask for yor life story!
