Here's my team i posted a few weeks back on another site, with one change up front Keano in for Bent.
1 Shay Given - Newcastle would be futher down the table if not for their keeper. Added bonus goes to him for having the "solid!" central pairing of Boumsong and Bramble in front of him.
2 Steve Finnan - Great defending this season from Finnan gets him included. He has really come on in the tackling side and still likes to get forward. 3 William Gallas - One of Chelseas main reasons for the low goals against column. Even out of position at left back Gallas has been a rock. 4 Kolo Touré - Arsenals best defender by far, looking forward to the World Cup with the Ivory Coast. Was out injured for a bit but recent Europen games shows why his is so good. 5 John Terry - It can't be a team without the big man in it. Super in the air and at tackling, Terry leads the back line with confindence. Stand out season yet again
7 Kevin Nolan - consistant, great at defending or attacking. One of the more underrated players in the premiership 11 Matthew Etherington - Great season for the Hammers and this man, although has faded slightly in comparsion to the start of the season, still making a lot of good runs with the ball. 8 Stephen Gerrard - Just squeezes in ahead of Lampard due to the Chelsea's man lake of stand out preformances in the 2nd half of the season. Another great season from the Liverpool captain. 6 Pedro Mendes - Just for the goals! this lad has scored some crackers throught the season!
9 Wayne Rooney - Has everything, can be found regularly around the United 18 yeard box making tackles. England and United depend on this player a bit too much but he is brilliant! 10 Robbie Keane- Has been magificent for spurs this season and his recent run of form shows why he is rated highly

GK - Petr Cech, couldn't really think of another goal keeper that has done particularly well this season to be honest.
RB - Pascal Chimbonda, I wasn't sure what to think of him when he arrived, but he's played brilliantly this season, and has done great in defence as well as the attacking part of the game.
CB - John Terry, as much as I dislike him I have to put him in. Whenever I think someone is through on goal against Chelsea he appears from no where and clears the ball away. Chelsea's best player, and they didn't have to pay anything for him. Wow.
CB - Arjen De Zeeuw, has been one of the best signings this season, top performer and leader. Reads the game with Henchoz brilliantly which makes up for their lack of pace. First name on the team sheet!
LB - Jamie Carragher, Has had another very good season.
RM - Ronaldo, has improved his game at lot recently, and is making much more of an impact on games with his tricks and passing.
CM - Jimmy Bullard, can be inconsistant with his passing and shooting, but he's done great this season. Really made the step up to the premiership.
CM - Steven Gerrard, has had another great season. Wish he didn't play for the scousers..
LM - Matthew Etherington, I think he's quite underrated, but he's another one that has stepped up and done great in the premiership this season.
ST - Jason Roberts, has upped his game this season and has played brilliantly up front. Definitely showed the critics he's got the stuff to play in the premier league.
ST - Darren Bent, Has done fantastic for Charlton this year.Definitely given them the player that desperately need. 20 goals this season, being pretty much upfront on his own is top stuff.

What are you on mate. Reina has kept 20+ clean sheets and has been terrific. Given has probably been the best as he has singlehandedly helped them get up to 7th place. Van Der Sar has been very good for Man Utd as you would expect from a goalie of his class. Lehmann has had his best season yet for Arsenal and I can't remember him making a single mistake. All of those guys did better than Cech this year. People just pick Cech becasue he plays for Chelsea.

Yep thats why I chose him alright!!!
Cech has had about 20 clean sheets this season, 25 in total according to the Beeb which isn't too bad in itself. Hardly seen him make any mistakes and has been pretty consistant. I'd rule Lemon out straight away, coz he has the attitude of a grade 'a' vagina.
