Now this is a proper difficult one.
Going Nowhere for sure, though.

Flying on the Ground is one of Noel's best solo's song. Going Nowhere is nice, but it doesn't really go anywhere. While Flying on the Ground makes you feel like you're upside down while you're flying on the ground. And I never really got high...

Going Nowhere all the way for me and I wouldn't even put that song in my Oasis top 30. Never been mad on Flying On The Ground.

Its always to compare songs from different eras, Going Nowhere will always have that 90s nostalgia attached to it alhtough its a less good song than Flying On The Ground.
I love Flying On The Ground though. It should have been a single on CS. Easily.

Flying On The Ground is one of Noel's best solo songs but Going Nowhere is easily the better song all around.

Flying On The Ground BBC Live hands down Mad that his BBC recordings are so much better sounding than his studio versions.

Flying On the Ground is his best post-2017 song in my opinion. Going Nowhere is a classic. Hard decision! I've heard GN so much so I'm going to go with FOTG because it's still fresh.

What I love about Flying on the ground is how the lyrics are a culmination/history of Noel’s classic themes and visuals. It’s a master at work. My heart is with Going Nowhere though because it has a longing to be, it’s the journey on the way to Flying.

Has to be Flying On The Ground for me. Noel's solo stuff between 2017-2021 is on another level

These are both great songs, written about a quarter century apart, which says something about the songwriting abilities of Noël. I’d probably lean Going Nowhere, which I didn’t care for when it came out, but I was 20 at the time.
We need another Oasis album…..
God bless.

Going Nowhere has a bit of a classic vibe (cant say its an Oasis' classic though) and has that brilliant Oasis touch (the solo for example) but I'll be bold and go with Flying On The Ground. It has an incredible melody, Noel's vocals are spot on (those falsettos are so class) and it blows into a great chorus, proof that the Chief still got it

Going Nowhere is a good song but I just don't think it's one of Oasis's best but I do still listen to it now and again. But as for Flying On The Ground it's a song which I never go back to.
