I heard that the amount of time from the release of DM to the breakup in Paris is almost the exact amount of days from the breakup in Paris to the announcement of the the 2025 tour.
To me, it seems like they were together so much longer than they were apart.

I know it should be about the same amount of time, but the breakup to reunion feels way longer.
Maybe it’s the technology evolving but the 15 years between breakup and now feels soooooo long. (The no. of albums the brothers released also added to that feeling, there’s so many albums they’ve made that they really feel like separate entities up till that point!)

They were together for 3 years before DM was released though?

Contractually obliged to reform before time apart > time together

To me, it seems like they were together so much longer than they were apart. I think it's just that as you get older time seems to go quicker because each new day is a smaller proportion of your life. I remember the gap between albums feeling like a lifetime when I was at school and college.

I don’t know. The solo projects appropriately filled the void so the break didn’t feel too bad.

I don’t know. The solo projects appropriately filled the void so the break didn’t feel too bad. I've said it before and I'll say it. I didn't want them to reunite, and for completely selfish reasons. We got twice as much music, with Liam giving us the more Oasis-y vibes and Noel following his own muse. We also got to see them in much smaller venues, and for cheaper. But, I wouldn't miss an opportunity to see them live together again, so take that as you will.

I don’t know. The solo projects appropriately filled the void so the break didn’t feel too bad. Kinda, but at the same time it wasn't Oasis. I imagine people liked one more than the other, and I doubt either act is any fan's absolute favorite over Oasis, but even if you like them both, you can add them together and you still don't get Oasis.
