In the Supersonic doc, there's a bit where you can hear Noel and Liam talking about the King Tuts gig - the only lines I can remember off the top of my head are 'Alan McGee was meant to be in that club tonight. He was meant to be there, totally' and 'I understand it, me, now, fate'.
Where does this actually come from? Is it publicly available or is the only record of it in the documentary?

It's at 22:22 in the Supersonic documentary. It sounds recorded well after the event, after they had achieved success, but not specifically for the documentary.

Yeah I know it wasn't recorded specifically for the documentary, sorry if I worded my post badly I just wondered what specific interview or audio clip it comes from (I assumed the quotes were spliced from a longer interview/segment) and if the full thing is available publicly

I had a quick look in the Supersonic book, and there's no mention of these quotes. I guess it's from a recording a journalist made and just added flavour to the documentary, so was skipped in the book. If anyone knows about this it's probably The Crimson Rambler

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that one.
