If Noel were to write for the new Oasis album subpar songs like most of his solo songs, I'd rather Oasis stick with Dig Out Your Soul as their last studio album.

As someone born in '93 who became an Oasis fan after all the hype had burst, I need a huge relevant album to take the world by storm. Dig Out Your Soul is all fart, no poo. For that the be the last Oasis album is not good enough. |

Trying to find a world could've been epic with the Oasis treatment. There are some Noel songs (not whole albums, I'll admit it) that would be better than some of 00s Oasis easily, you people are just stuck with 90's oasis and nostalgia and can't be bothered with the good stuff that's come out, it seems. Hope a new album makes everyone come around and see the potential, I think it's gonna be great

If we get a new song before the tour starts, it will be interesting to see who else plays on the song. If it's sessions musicians it probably confirms that Liam and Noel are the only proper band members this time around.
In that case it would make sense that they don't announce any other members (Liam has said many times by now on Twitter that we will only see who plays in the band when they walk on stage, he said that again this weekend).

I've always thought Easy Now would have made the ideal Oasis comeback single, just with a better solo and a Liam vocal. The same applies to Come On Outside, it's such a shame they never properly recorded it with Liam for DOYS this is one song that Liam could have saved. With less cheese on the production. But i doubt he could have sung the chorus, its really high. Or in another key; |

Gem’s been with Noel for so long now, hard to imagine him not being included. Also he’s such a good go between with Liam.
