I don't mind casuals buying the tickets now, after all, this is the general sale. I hope they go to the gigs, hear songs like Roll It Over for the first time, and fall in love with the band as much as we have. My issue is that the management didn't make it clear who qualified for the pre-sale -- which in my head would've served the purpose of selecting out the most loyal of fans, though in limited numbers due to the popularity of the band even in hardcore circles. Instead, they were all shady and cryptic about this whole thing. Huge disappointment.

Oh no. Oasis is a huge band with mainstream appeal and millions of sold albums. Who would have thought. I know we all want tickets, but I'm definitely against gatekeeping this band. If even one of the "casuals" goes and has their life changed by Oasis the way we did, that's incredible. And also quite likely. This times a hundred. This is happening given all the youth jumping on board.

Surely the people registered as fans for literal decades should be offered first dibs, then a free for all.

I know, but it'd fuck off the hundreds of thousands of casuals who are flocking for tickets to just say they're there Oh no. Oasis is a huge band with mainstream appeal and millions of sold albums. Who would have thought. Gatekeeping one of the biggest rock bands in history is really funny to me

This is worse than taylor swift, i havent seen a queue to enter a website before That is wild.
When they broke up it felt like they partially limped away. And now this madness. Love it. Its great that they're back.
Agree. I've always held some bit of worry about the legacy if they reunited and it didn't go well etc. Seems just by booking a tour they're cementing their status as legends in the eyes of the general public now. It's amazing to watch

I think its great that a younger generation is into them now and I hope they all get tickets, but aye I was thinking the same - they've got a list of folk from their mailing list, some folk like myself been on it since mailing lists were a thing, they maybe could have send those folk pre-sale codes first or something.

Is this what buying Taylor Swift tickets is like? This is kind of blowing my mind to see 300k in a queue for one show This is worse than taylor swift, i havent seen a queue to enter a website before They definitely have queues like this for other events. I was something like 230,000 in the queue for Tyson Fury fight at Wembley There's no doubt Taylor Swift events are like this.

An actual well-thought out, properly managed fan presale? From THIS band's management? They could never 😂

If you are going from the US, would it matter "that much" if you later on buy a ticket on the secondary market? Compared to prices for hotel and travel and giving funds to a n environmental charity to try to off-set the travel etc etc If that's the way it has to be done, so be it honestly. Though the Ticketmaster official face value resale program gives me some hope that in that case I could nab one without it being a fortune The truth is there will already be tickets on sale by the afternoon, if you're willing to pay over the odds.

I mean that's the most expected thing ever. See: KISS in 1996, Guns N Roses in 2016 etc. Amazing they are back. But I fail to see what's so "wild" about them shifting tickets, with the history of the band.

I get to "Choose your tickets" for an hour but all I get is the message: "Something went wrong..." I don't know what to do now.

For everyone stuck in the site-wide queue: just google for example "ticketmaster oasis 25 july wembley" and open that page. This will bring you to the event queue directly. Thank you! It worked! I'm finally in queue! 229751 tho hahahaha

Cheapest one for Cardiff is nearly £900 There we go then. I do expect these scumbags to lower prices a bit over time. Anyway I was just pointing out that people are likely to get a ticket at some point in the next 10 months, if they're willing to pony up much more than face value.
