I was able to get tickets to the Dublin show!!! I got relatively lucky (realized this after seeing others' queue numbers) and started in the queue around number 5500. I found this ticket selection was much more difficult than what I was used to from Canadian shows, because usually we're able to select directly from a map while this one you had to pray the system gave you a good option when you requested the tickets. Originally was trying to get 3 standing pitch tickets, but for some reason every time I submitted a request for best available, it would also show as sold out. When I switched it to two tickets, it generated two standing pitch tickets for me after two tries so I just checked out asap and didn't want to risk losing 2 standing tickets over trying to get 3 instead. I did find that the standing prices were less than the €179 that was quoted on lists I found online, as it was €166.25 base and €176.75 after fees. Although unfortunately one of my friends won't be able to come along now, I'm so happy that I can go see Oasis for the first time!!  See you all in Dublin!!!!! |
