I got a single seat for Chicago. I was 3,500 in queue at opening, and had an error trying to buy two tixs similar to the NJ "no longer available".
Figured I'd toggle the QTY of tix to 1 to refresh the system w/o refreshing the page, and clicked on an individual seat on aisle, lower bowl, and it went thru. Figured I didn't wanna chance losing it, so I bought the ticket ($320 all in, Sec. 124).
Tried to jump back in line to try for another single or a pair, and now I'm 165,000th. Haha.
I figure if I can afford a pair on the secondary market, we'll all come together as forum-friends and I'd be happy to sell a premium single. Also seen 'em solo plenty times & will have fun rocking in the aisle.
Good luck to all. Suppose I'll try to get in LA line too.
I'd call this a positive draw. The kid in me that fell in love w/ them in '95 has a ticket & saw 'em 10+ times in their prime is very happy. The cynic 40yo I'm now would still probably prefer two solo tours & more reasonable access. I don't think these sell outs are some indicator that America LOVES Oasis all of a sudden.
Oasis cracked American 95-97, no doubt. DYKWIM played on Mid-Missouri radio on-the-hour that summer. The BHN tour was their best of America. They love has always been there.
So, with limited markets & us amazing fans, LiveNation easily engineered these sell outs a la their "legacy acts" model. Liam/Noel gonna make a pretty penny, as is their right.
When my family asks what I think...I say... I think those Gallagher boys will be in church every week for next the 14 months. haha.

In addition to adding “loyal Oasis fan” to my LinkedIn, I’m also now adding “Helped Oasid sell out MetLife”.

As an American fan who's deal with ambivalence and mockery of said fandom a long time (the whole "no one cares"/"one hit wonder" shit), this makes me feel really really happy to see these shows sell out like this.

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!! We were right all along about this band ya fuckers Props to the OG forum members for keeping this torch alive ❤️ Ive been a lurker and occasional poster around here for longer than I can remember. Before that I think I remember a site called the Mad Ferrit, 90s internet is all a blur now (no pun intended). I'm just so thrilled that after all these years I'll finally get to see Oasis. I've seen Noel & Liam solo, was never able to catch them together before though. I've just been on a high ever since I somehow got Wembley tickets. I hope these good vibes continue permanently!

Great job everyone. It's been probably more than a decade since I last logged in but been viewing the forum religiously for years (You can see when I first made the account).
Long live Oasis! (but I wasn't able to get a ticket to the Chicago show for the first time in my life.. still in the queue.. haha).
Nice to see the hype is real.. even I thought these stadiums might be too larger for them in the US. Proved me wrong.

And nice to see some folks could get some tickets! I'm actually flying over from Germany and gonna attend the 1st LA show as I didn't get anything for the UK gigs It's also my bday in September so I can spin it like that a bit...

They better open with PART OF THE QUEUE Hilarious and I unironically love that song. One of this band's highlights from 2001-2007 I'd say.

I deleted my original account here after talking too much shit as a 12 year old back then haha
Simpler times I suppose. Anyone here used to post on Oasisinet? Still get a twinge of nostalgia seeing that URL on the Live '25 posters after all these years.

Question: How many folks got standing GA tickets? I felt it odd that of all the categories of tixs that should've been available, NJ & CHI never seemed to give me that option. I also didn't see any VIP offerings either. I rationalized this morning I'd pay for a "inner pit' standing GA, but short of that explicitly, I'd no go if ticketbastard tried to oversell me. - Re. thread: For what we all paid for tixs, the Cuban bongo drummer should tour just for Part of the Queue.
- Re. thread: I too was a Oaisinet'er & think I too had to create a second account for this forum after losing the first to an expired hotmail acct.
- I only ever got to my first show due to "typing" class as a 13yo in 1997. The sooner you finished your lesson, you could SURF THE WEB dude. I found Oasisinet, saw the Chicago show, bilked my Dad for my first ever concert, and Rosemont '98 was legendary.

I have to assume a lot of the tickets sold to the U.S. shows are to non Americans considering Oasis haven’t had much traction in the U.S. for literally over a quarter century and now they’re selling out stadiums? Doesn’t make sense to me, but I’m also on a lot of medication right now so nothing really makes sense.
God bless.

We better get a live album out of this extravaganza. I posted a comment under an Instagram post on the official account asking them to do us all a favour and record one of the inevitable Buenos Aires gigs for cinema release
