another friend and her roommate both got codes and managed to get two for me and my girlfriend yesterday. The moral of the story is that it pays to have friends!!

I joined the queue early and just got through to see what’s available. Started at 14,000 in the queue.
I could have gotten better tickets for the same price through Ticketmaster. Oh well, at least I’ll be there, albeit at the back.

I’m with 4 people at work right now. All trying to get tickets for MetLife. All unsuccessful.
Holy shit. They are gonna sell both of these fuckers out!!! What a time to be alive.

It's very strange. How did such a large stadium sell out so quickly? I remember that for Wembley, it took several hours.

Wembley would have sold out instantly if the website could handle it, maybe Ticketmaster US has infrastructure capable of processing more transactions at the same time.

I’m so happy as a fan. This isn’t a gig now. It’s an event. It’s an experience.
Let’s go get a #1 album Noel!!!

That was fruitless. I was 3,000th in queue for NJ 1st night & thought FOR SURE.
Spent 15-20 minutes trying to click & buy tickets, clicking "next" and alwys "these tixs aren't available".
The prices looked reasonable. I'll def pony up $500'ish/pair for mid-level seats. But it didn't feel like tixs were even available for the most part. I tried every combo of 1 or 2 tixs & always "these tixs aren't available".
Bahhhumbug. Got in the Chicago line, this one should be even worse availability-wise cos its only one night.
I dunno. The slaving to Live nation is the saltiest part of the reunion I suppose.

Beyond gutted. No presale codes for either the UK nor the U.S., and all the gigs for which I attempted to purchase tickets were sold out by the time my number was called. I know this is not the band's fault, but the disappointment is real.

I think the secondary market will settle, and 10+ months from now, those of us who miss will have opportunities.
There is a diff. between EU "touts" and USA "scalpers". However you say it, there is some element of...they meet the market where you can make decisions.
The ticketbastard scam of artificial markets, faux queues & limiting transfer in the name of "fairness" is all mularkey.

Did Taylor swift tickets sell out this fast for any location? a record tbh I think for events like this, where demand is so huge, time taken to sell out is pretty meaningless because it's just based on how fast the ticket sellers can process the orders. If it was just a case of being online and clicking a button then tickets would sell out in a second, and that's probably the case for Swift in most venues/locations too.

I wanted Jersey. Would have been cheaper to fly there than Chicago but I couldn’t change my selection. Guess I’m getting some deep dish pizza.
