Anyone using multiple emails to sign up for the pre-sale? Not sure if it will flag me as a bot or some shit I think the fine print said the email you use has to match the email you have registered with Ticketmaster. Not sure if a different email disqualifies you automatically or just makes "transferring" a winning code a pain in the ass. I'm sticking with just one.

Are these the largest shows in the USA ever? What were the large venues they played in 96/97 in the US?

I got the "loyal fan" email but actually signed up for the presale through the general link as I didn't check my email first before signing up. I did re-sign up using the loyal fan email link so hopefully it does register, though I don't know if the email link is specific for loyal fan signup, or if it's just associated to the email being registered.
some timelines for those interested:
8:29 AM EST - received tour announcement email with "loyal fan" identification ~9:30 AM EST - signed up for presale using general link ~9:40 AM EST - signed up for presale using loyal fan email link (same account, just registered again) 9:53 AM EST - received email to confirm ballot entry
good luck to all those applying!

Are these the largest shows in the USA ever? What were the large venues they played in 96/97 in the US? They will be the largest headlining venues played by Oasis in the US by far. The largest crowd was here in Massachusetts in 2005 (about 20,000). They did play the Oakland Coliseum supporting U2 in 1997, which is in the range of these gigs (~63,000), but I don't know how many attended that show. Edit: Looks like 66,000 over two shows for U2, so only around 33,000 per show (https://www.u2interference.com/threads/attendance-at-all-popmart-shows.137984/)

I got the loyal fan email too, but I had already signed up and confirmed my entry to the presale by the time I got that email. I hope it all works out in the end.

this is the UK one it had the oxymoron(?) text here too. But everyone did automatically get a code "A ticket pre-sale will be held on Friday 30th August, ahead of Saturday’s general sale. We've identified you as a loyal fan of Oasis. To thank you for your support, you will automatically be selected if you correctly register and confirm entry in the pre-sale ballot before it closes. Ballot registration is open now and will close at 7pm BST, this Wednesday 28th August. Successful applicants will receive an email with full access information the morning of Friday 30th August. Success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis" Not everyone got a code. I didn't. Thats very strange as the email literally said if you correctly register and confirm you'll automatically be selected.

Definitely trying to do the Metlife show, but I'm hoping to maybe get a ticket for LA or Chicago too. Might be too greedy.
I tried with the initial dates, but didn't have any luck. Got into the presale again this time, so fingers crossed. These are huge venues for them in States, so I'm mildly optimistic even given the reunion hype.
It will be interesting to see how they set them up capacity wise and how quick the tickets sell. Oasis has always been decently strong in the major markets here in America, but these are the biggest shows they've done here as a headliner by far. God willing I get a ticket it will be interesting to see the crowd demographics (the generation crossover, people traveling from abroad, etc) and compare the vibes to the UK and Ireland shows.
My only Oasis show was their last USA date at the Patriot Center on December 20, 2008. My Oasis fandom was at its peak, and I was at the age where I was really discovering all types of new music and just starting to go to shows. I was posting on here regularly back then, I knew the band wasn't at its peak anymore, but they fucking rocked. Naturally I loved every second of it, even when Liam mixed up the lyrics in TSOTL lmao. It's still one of my favorite shows ever, because Oasis means more to me than just about any other band. I'm so, so thankful I was able to go to that show and at the age, because it left a mark on me and I cherished it because they broke up months later.
It's also one of my favorite memories with my family. I was 16 then, and again Lord willing, I'll be 33 when these shows come around. Hopefully we can make some more fantastic memories.

Not everyone got a code. I didn't. Thats very strange as the email literally said if you correctly register and confirm you'll automatically be selected. I wonder if there was a geographic limitation on the UK presale. I'm in the US and maybe it was only for UK residents? Def didn't go to spam or anything like that. Anyway, this'll all sort itself out soon. Good luck to everybody!

Are these the largest shows in the USA ever? What were the large venues they played in 96/97 in the US? Not sure about the BHN tour, but I saw them at the Egyptian Room in Indianapolis in March 1996, and it holds only 2000. I don't think they've ever done a U.S. stadium show. Question: does registering for the pre-sale automatically register you for Oasismynet? Or does one have to do that separately?

Good luck to all american (and canadian) fans. Hope you all getting the tickets you want! Should be absolutely biblical after all the years to see the boys again at such venues. Would be great to see them having a little victory lap across the pond after all the time on the biggest stages.
At least Mexico for sure will have a 2nd show

Shame on me for assuming that they would have learned their lesson regarding usage of "loyal fan of Oasis" language in their emails. If a fan is lucky enough to be pre-selected, then simply tell them that. Plenty of loyal fans will not receive these emails, and they will once again find themselves back in the gauntlet along with thousands of blokes, many of whom only want to see them play "Wonderwall" for three hours straight.

Things could change but I'm not sure why they'd request seating over GA. In fact one of the maps has already changed as it used to have one of those mini second stages halfway down the field. Imagine Oasis using something like that Seated floor sadly has become the standard at a lot of big gigs in the US. Q101 said they’re today they’re giving out free “floor seats” to the Soldier Field show this week.

MetLife is roughly 80,000 Soldier Field is roughly 60,000 Rose Bowl is roughly 85,000 Not bad. Why do you always skip Toronto lol Because the fella said “AMERICA.” Toronto isn’t in America. Toronto is located on the North American continent but I assumed he meant America as in the United States of America. Toronto is 50,000.

Hm. I never even considered GA would have seats. That's A LOT of chairs! Guess we'll see... Floor is GA standing. Nah, most likely will be seats for the floor. They'll be a small section right in front of the stage labeled 'orchestra pit' (or something along those lines) that will be standing only. US stadium shows do not have the entire pitch as GA standing.

We have a very similar story my friend! Saw them on the DOYS tour, my first show ever at 15, and it’s still up there as one of my all time favorites even after seeing hundreds of bands since. It’s a bit surreal to think how much time has passed in between!

US stadium shows do not have the entire pitch as GA standing. If you go through the process of getting Chicago tix on Ticketmaster, it shows the stadium and the entire floor/pitch is labeled as GA standing.
