I was always suspect of that particular gig. It’s just too isolated. Big venue. Risky to fill it. Ramstein sold out Gillette in 2022 (September 9). I don't think it is that risky, given the proximity to the UK and the relative cost difference between NYC and Boston. That being said, the location is a pain to get to from Boston. I do wonder if the Ramstein gig is part of the problem here. It forced the Patriots to stay down in Miami for a week and practice there. Maybe it was planned for September 2, but then the team pushed back when it would disrupt their week after that last experience. Rammstein did quite well compared to past tours, but they did not sell out Gillette. It can do like 70k for concerts and there were probably about ~30 - 32k people there. 300 level was mostly empty because the seats all got moved down. CL/200 level was like half full. 100 level and floor were mostly full though. I'd expect something similar with Oasis tbh if they were to announce a show there, especially given the proximity to the MetLife gig and timing (mid-week post Labor Day weekend).

Wasn't it a gig postponed by the pandemic originally? I thought that it did sell out (maybe originally) but not on the reschedule? Either way, it displaced the Patriots for a week, which the team was not happy about at the time.

“Oasis Live ‘25 - Please confirm your ballot entry.“ The email with the code said the same thing as the ballot confirmation email? That's weird. No. The first email I got from Oasis this morning was saying I was automatically being selected for the pre-sale lotto entry. All I had to do was complete the form and it was assured. The code comes wed.

Oasis playing stadium shows in America!?! Wow What are the potential capacities for each gig? MetLife is roughly 80,000 Soldier Field is roughly 60,000 Rose Bowl is roughly 85,000 Not bad.

Definitely getting tickets for MetLife, but might try to get Mexico City too and turn that into a birthday trip.

The Mexico gig will sell well.
I'm guessing there won't be too much issue getting tickets for those USA dates, given the size of them

That email just confirms that your name is in the proverbial hat. This is the same as the UK pre-sale. I made it this far that time too, but didn't get picked for a code.

The quote above makes me think I will receive the code no matter what.

I'm assuming these will be reduced capacity setups. Even when Oasis played various arenas in the states during the original run, the # of seats avaiable was usually slimmed down anywhere from about 15% to 50% from what the actual maximum potential attendance was. I could see both Metlife and Soldier Field being 45-50k setups. As for the Rose Bowl, the lowest ever attendance there was a 1992 Cure gig at 35k and the highest ever being a 2009 U2 gig at 97k. I'd guess they'll set it up for maybe a bit over 50k. Could be wrong though, as Oasis gigs in the Los Angeles area often were less of a draw than say, New York, Boston, Chicago - despite the LA metro being far larger in terms of population size.

Wait really? Where did you see that? Ticketmaster USA has the plans with GA on the field! Are we sure that's not just the generic venue template? It lists seating behind the stage, which almost certain would not be available at these shows. The site says: "Map above does not reflect availability of tickets. Seating charts reflect the general layout for the venue at this time. For some events, the layout and specific seat locations may vary without notice."

Things could change but I'm not sure why they'd request seating over GA. In fact one of the maps has already changed as it used to have one of those mini second stages halfway down the field. Imagine Oasis using something like that

That part doesn't jive with the ballot confirmation bit here though, where a code is definitely not a guarantee: "If selected in the ballot, you will receive an email from Oasismynet with your code no later than midnight local this Wednesday, October 2, with full details and timings for the pre-sale on Thursday, October 3. If you have not received an email by then, you have not been selected to receive a code." Typical Ignition crap.

Crossing fingers for Soldier Field! My friend who saw them with me in 1996 will be attending as well, if we’re able to get tickets. Been reading Paolo Hewitt’s bio and pulling out my old cigarette-box collections of singles from DM and MG to celebrate the imminent reunion.

But everyone did automatically get a code "A ticket pre-sale will be held on Friday 30th August, ahead of Saturday’s general sale. We've identified you as a loyal fan of Oasis. To thank you for your support, you will automatically be selected if you correctly register and confirm entry in the pre-sale ballot before it closes. Ballot registration is open now and will close at 7pm BST, this Wednesday 28th August. Successful applicants will receive an email with full access information the morning of Friday 30th August. Success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis"

Someone on the Reddit said an initial promo video had two dates for each show (just like the leak) before it was taken down. Biblical times
