Oasis is an anti european brexit band - confirmed Wait until 2026 the original announcement said that Ireland and UK would be the exclusive European dates. I had hopes that the announcement would be later on to give me time to emigrate 🙃

They’re really trying for stadiums here, huh? That’s bold of them. We’ll see…

Let's see. I booked hotels for Chicago and New York. The only thing i dislike about the gigs is the fact that the US crowds are usually crap. At least no flying piss. American crowds may be tame but you’d get knocked out if you threw piss in the US.

Looks like NJ’s MetLife Stadium would be my best option. Let’s see how they have them priced.
How many dollars do you think the cheapest standard ticket will be for the US shows? Obviously much less than the UK equivalent.

As a public service announcements to any UK residents thinking of coming to the gig in Boston: if it is in fact a Gillette Stadium, it is about a 40 minute drive (without traffic) south from Boston to Foxborough, MA. There are very limited hotels in that area. There is a commuter rail train line that runs near the stadium from Boston. For big gigs there like Taylor Swift, they ran a direct train, but I don't think that Oasis will be at that level. Providence, RI is about the same distance to the stadium, so that is an option too. In both cases, driving from Boston/Providence is the main option. If it is really on a Tuesday night right after Labor Day, be prepared for traffic to be awful given that school will just have resumed. The only good news is that there is plenty of parking at the stadium, but it can take a long time to get in/out of the lots.

As I wrote in one of my first posts on here > Summer 26
Also funny how long it took for NME to discover that "leaked" tour schedule. Expected them to make a story of that earlier.

Recently went to a show down at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield (where Oasis played in ‘05). Pain in the ass to get in and out of. And was a weekend show where there were maybe 8,000 there. I can only imagine Gillette on Tuesday afternoon/evening right after Labor Day weekend. I’ve heard that they cut off alcohol sales really early too. Like as soon as the headliner goes on-stage. Not my sort of vibe. I’m thinking maybe it’d be more fun to do a holiday in NYC, taking the train out to Giants Stadium on Saturday. (Assuming all these leaked dates/venues are in fact true)

Oasis was never cheap for me here in the States and inflation's a bitch.

I'm actually disappointed it's NFL stadiums...they all require planes, trains, and automobiles to get to, you'll spend more time getting in and out of the parking lot than the actual gig, and a lot of stadiums don't have great sound. And, if you want to sit down, the seats are way too far away to see anything.
Call me an old man, but the thought of getting crushed by 50K on a football field for a few hours just isn't me...the 20 year old me, but not the 40 year old me.
Off soapbox.

Time to visit the in-laws in New Jersey, in the absence of, you know, tickets for one of the seven stadium shows in the actual city in which I live!

MLB stadiums would've been great, but the dates is in the middle of the season, planning for that would've been a PIA
