Seems to me they should have announced it the same time as the British gigs. People I know who don't talk about Oasis where thinking of going. Who knows if that's still the case weeks later. Not sure what the hell they're waiting for. Agree. Timing would have been perfect. Unless they may have something else planned to promote these shows or the rest of next years tour leg. At least drop some little teasers here and there, stay in the conversation and active on your social media channels etc.

There is always the possibility that they are waiting to release the US shows alongside a new album release cycle starting in November. That would help drive ticket sales (as long as it's a good album, obviously) They would know that the UK tour would sell out without new music anyway. Certainly wouldn’t hurt. Especially if the single is catchy. Come on Chord Lord!!!!

I’m expecting something in October or whenever this Wembley business is solved. Whatever comes first

I think pairing the announcement with some sort of new material announcement would only help drive tickets for stadiums. It’s gonna take a monster effort but I think it can be done.

Not sure I buy the Super Bowl thing but would be amazing promo for them and would explain the stadium level booking plans. I have a cheap hotel next to the LA stadium booked just in case

I have a cheap hotel next to the LA stadium booked just in case I don't buy it. They never have rock bands on it anymore and I can't imagine them having on a band that has been completely out of the public conscience of 99% of America since 1997 or so Would be amazing, but I honestly would place my money elsewhere.... It would go over like a wet fart over here - everyone in the crowd would be going "Oasis who? "

There's a leaked setlist with some kero kero bonito and a Cover of RnR star by KKB with Oasis. I think it's a pisstake.

The Super Bowl rumors are far fetched but the kind of make sense:
Kendrick Lamar is an Oasis fan
The other group listed is a UK act
Oasis are trying to sell out US stadiums in the summer of 2025 by all accounts and the Super Bowl is in February
The NFL has been trying for years to get a foothold in the UK and Europe to popularize the sport there and may possibly want to have either a team or the Super Bowl there some day. Great promotion for both parties.

The only realistic thing about this is Kendrick playing Alright, Humble, and Not Like Us six times.

The only realistic thing about this is Kendrick playing Alright, Humble, and Not Like Us six times. Cannot be true. Not in a million years. In New Orleans? No local acts at the Super Bowl? Only time in NOLA that’s happened was the 2002 SB when u2 were the biggest band in the world.

I live in Seoul and I'd be incredibly surprised if Oasis could come close to selling out the Olympic stadium once, never mind twice.
I know they're big in Japan, not quite as big in Korea. They're known in Seoul for sure, but they're not filling the Olympic stadium.
Last time they played in Seoul, they played at Olympic Hall, 4000 capacity.
I won't be surprised if they can do better than 4000 this time, but a 70,000 stadium? Noooo chance, not even once.
Two nights at Olympic Hall is much more likely.
