People see what they want to see obviously. But it's Noel understanding the purpose of a PR peace put up on the bands own channel; to market the album. He has always talked up that album and era. And Liam in the context of the album. Sorry but you're wrong. Feel free to show me an interview with the same warmth. And there's evidence to back it up. They're reforming. Lol, "warmth". Show me an interview regarding DM where he doesn't have "warmth" towards that album, recording and then-Liam? But yes, he sounded warm. And they are reforming. But they obviously can reform without being best buds or now be all brotherly "warm" --- as was the point/opinion/belief of the first post made. I think people push everything regarding Oasis like a reality show they want to see in their head. Whether they are genuinely friendly again or not.

I think, ultimately, we have Debbie to thank for this. Without her, I don’t believe Liam ever comes close to returning in the unreal/massive way he did. She deserves some genuine credit. Debbie deserves nothing but praise! What a woman

Somewhere Marcus Russell is shitting himself, knowing that we’ll get a blu-ray release of the 2004 DVD of Definitely Maybe…

Are they going to open the tour in Milwaukee? (That one's for the old timers on here.) Ah the nostalgia. I was at the actual first gig in Dublin. It was brilliant. But Milwaukee. Dems were the days.

So according to the Scum, the photoshoot Liam mentioned was with Noel for the posters. Also as a way of testing the water to see how they are together.
It apparently took months to fully negotiate the whole tour, with final approval given about 7wks ago. Which sounds about right, as John Robb said at the time the Sifters interview was shot, they hadnt fully agreed to reform yet. And he said that was shot about 2mths back.
Sorry to mention that sh*trag, but it seemed worth quoting.

If this reunion is real, "One Of Us" lyrics hit differently now: "Hey kid, did you know? Today 16 years ago It was you and I for the last time" I admit its close to being pure poetry but wasnt it 15years? I think the idea is 16 years from breakup to first gigs.

I have been checking this thread nonstop since yesterday morning from Canada. Can’t get anything else done. Been on here for 15+ years, would check in every 2-3 months religiously and find no updates on a reunion, largely silence. Cannot believe this is finally happening. Never been more excited for a 3am wake up call.

Thanks, hadn't seen that interview. John Robb saying that it may have been a "snap decision" - yeah right, as if such things don't take months of planning. Couldn't help but laugh at the fact that the interview was done outside the Boardwalk - as if to add credence to the case

There were murmours then about Noel and Liam actually being in Manchester at the same time. Who knows if they popped in to see Peggy...

” Insiders told The Sun the warring brothers had secretly come together for a photoshoot which would be used to promote the gigs, which are a joint operation between promoters Live Nation and SJM.
It was the first time Liam, 51, and Noel, 57 — whose hits included mid-1990s chart-toppers Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger — had been in a room together since the band split in 2009.”
They must have seen eachother before the photoshoit? Or maybe just via Zoom/phonecalls I guess

The John Robb Sifters interview was done around 15th June because it was when the Oasis Collectors Group event was on at Salford Lads Club. One of the guys from the group got his picture taken with Noel outside. Liam/ Bone were at the co op that week, I tweeted at the time that 4/5 original members were in Manchester at the same time because Tony had also popped in to the exhibition. I doubt that was the time of the meet up but you never know!

My points: 1) Negative: Tomorrow morning they release old song never unheard. A demo or shit like that. Blossoms wall could be strange in this caso too. 2) Positive at best case: They reuniting only to play Oasis old songs, nothing new. Really hope I'm wrong.

I've never understood the thing with Sara and the band, can someone explain? Well its one of those things where theres two sides to every story. One thing I know caused conflict with Liam was that Sara is friends with Lisa Moorish who is Mollie’s mum. And at that stage Liam had nothing to do with her. Sara sided with Lisa and so did Noel i presume. I know there were rumours of other things that they blamed each other for, and it turned out neither were to blame? I dont know the detail there, but it certainly wouldve made Noel a bit of a man in the middle and made things hostile. And then Ive heard this allegation about her selling stuff on the band to the tabloids or something? I do think its exaggerated somewhat, but it undoubtedly presented a psychological hurdle before now. Ask Liam and one of Sara's best friends how it came together that she basically hated Liam from early 2009 on. Let's put it like this. But thank god that doesn't matter anymore.

And yet... nobody living on that street put two and two together on that day, took pics or a video and sold it to the MEN or another tabloid? No because Peggy's bought their silence with a couple of broken penguins and a brew right?
