What ive said all along. Theyll demolish a mountain of goodwill if its some bloody wind up. Mhm. They don’t gain anything. You could argue it’d be for additional sales of whatever they could flog — but who else would buy that stuff who wasn’t already going to buy it? It’d be killing a ton of good will for pennies, at best. Well yeah it would have been a PR campaign for a minor release of whatever it is they're trying to flog this time that backfired spectacularly. It would be astonishing how anyone in their camp could've miscalculated the fans' reaction on this scale but then again, other, much more expensive, high-profile brand campaigns have gone wrong before and surely will go wrong again... |

Yeah , way before the date being revealed i was already saying on here, that Noel wouldve come out and said “sorry all this is a load of bollocks”. As if not, people would be so pissed at them noone would buy the DM reissue. And i think all the hype going to the next level the last 24 hours has only amplified that point. |

Hope it’s not Noel’s band. They’re so wet. And surely if anyone’s backing band it should be Liam’s seeing as they’re used to playing the songs! Hoping for old members mostly though Half of Noel’s band used to be Oasis. I can't keep up with this thread while I'm at work but this post has me ROFL |

Touring next summer with OASIS and being in Ride isn't mutually exclusive I know I know, but I don't know the working schedule of future plans of Ride, so my guess was, that RIDE is Andys top priority right now. Sure maybe he will be back and I would like that, cause Andy was great. Easy. Ride can be the support act and Andy can play with both bands. |

I've seen news articles on CBS and NBC about the rumors for a potential reunion, so if Oasis is indeed doing US stadium shows next summer, they will probably get plenty of spotlight in the news about it.

Bonehead, Dave Grohl, (some) fans, even family members like Molly and Paul... That's my impression anyway |

I’m just not sure what Liam and Noel would gain from the hype building this high only for it NOT to be a reunion. Who’s buying whatever they’re selling after that? What ive said all along. As it stands, it's still technically newspaper talk and rumours in terms of an actual, nothing more than that as it stands right noe this minute. Even the post of tomorrow's date is not evidence of a reunion yet, it could be a release. It's the week of a release, it could just be something related to that dropping tomorrow. The band can quite easily (and rightly) say they never started the talks of a reunion. It's really the media and fans whipping each other into a frenzy right now, with no official word from anyone related to the band about a reunion. It may be true, however if its not, the band haven't created this, the fans and news outlets have. |

I know Bonehead left under bad circumstances but i swear I've heard it mentioned they'd met up at a Noel gig in recent years. Noel doesn't seem to have a bad word to say about him other than telling the story of how he left. |

If I were to want anything out of a video for tomorrow which included the two brothers or the reunited band, it would be a 1:1 recreation of that which played before they went on stage at knebworth, it would at least be an honest reflection of both their legacy and themselves.
