Random question, but what were the 2014 reunion rumours? I wasn't really around for that Beady Eye split I think it was earlier than that... The split happened in october but there were rumours about them playing Glastonbury and having venues booked for Summer 2014. But I might be wrong, it's been 10 years (jeez!) |

Oasis Facebook is 50/50 about if it’s a reunion or not. Bit idiotic really. Everyone going on about a kit that’s already been announced. People are so lost. |

Gem/Chris/Bonehead
that's the best possible line-up and would deliver at the gigs. Liam vocals aside the band sounded great and tight during the DOYS tour. Also think Russ gonna fill in on the bass which I would be cool with and they gonna have someone for the keyboards.
At the end of the day it's the two of them together on stage and the rest is background noise - not for us hc fans but the casual fan or crowd.

Hope it’s not Noel’s band. They’re so wet. And surely if anyone’s backing band it should be Liam’s seeing as they’re used to playing the songs! Hoping for old members mostly though Really the only argument here is whether Russ should be playing bass, Gem Chris and Mike have plenty of Oasis pedigree. I don’t think anyone’s expecting Jess or the Roxy’s to join. |

Why don't they wait for one more day if it really is the reunion so it will be exactly 15 years after the split? It was in the original contract that they had to reform within 15 years... |

Not to mention we have reputable members in this forum and on Facebook confirm reunion rumours to be true? Just for a demo or a vinyl reissue or whatever? PR / dry run / research for the real things in a few years' time? If you think about it, bar a few teasers, all this hasn't cost them any money yet it's given them valuable insight into their (global) reach. Which media outlets reported it, news reports, radio stations, which other countries would be worth targeting etc etc |

I really hope a clause in the reunion contract requires Liam to ditch his shapeless black parkas / flap hats & revert to his cool fashion style with different outfits at every gig.

If Oasis somehow do not announce a reunion tomorrow, it’s going to hurt more than the original split in 2009 at this point.
I don’t know how I’d handle that, as I’ve handled the rumors so well.
