This is the comeback of the biggest rock and roll band in the world and you want Bonehead to play bass on it ?😂 He should be there, on a guitar, playing his signature bar chords on all the classics, but man, you gotta have a decent bass player for something like this. Why would Bonehead play bass? You have Guigs or Bell. Those should be the options. |

Is it possible they have already recorded something together? It’s not like they need to be in the same room anymore like back in the day. The HFB’s could easily lay down the nuts and bolts with a guide vocal and have LG do his bit somewhere else entirely. It's not impossible at all Noel has his own studio, so they could well have recorded there. As you say, Liam could've done his parts elsewhere, or even slipped un-noticed into Noel's studio. You're not getting into Noel's studio unless he wants you to and in his circle, so I'm sure they could've recorded something with nobody leaking anything. I'd be very surprised though. If there is a reunion, it's probably just a nostalgia tour to pay for Noel's divorce. At least for now anyway, if things start looking bright, then I think theres a chance of music I wouldn't be surprised. Noel's been giving hints. He's got a stadium rock album ready to go, that's been since, what just after the pandemic? Or he wrote it just after he wrote Council Skies. Then he's gone and said it'd be fun to write an Oasis album. Then he's gone and had early Oasis demos with Liams vocal on ready to hand which he gave to Matt Morgan so he'd be listening. Then he's gone and shut the studio down for the foreseeable and said no NGHFB albums until after 2026. It all points to new album I reckon. Noel would be the type to go all in, not half arse it for nostalgia only. |

Personally couldn't care less what combination of members are in the band. All about Liam and Noel ain't it. Would be nice seeing Bonehead and Whitey but will be happy with whatever. Hard disagree brother. There’s a certain spirit to the early years which Bonehead represents. I do agree mate but it's not going to spoil it for me if someone doesn't make the cut. Bonehead is an absolute banker anyway I'd imagine. |

I really like the way the Stone Roses went about their reunion, just a couple of singles for something different. That way your set isn't watered down with trying to fit a whole album's worth along with all the hits, plus you get something fresh

When someone said NGHFB + Liam I imagined Jeremy Stacey on drums and that fucking dude who played guitar on first NGHFB tour 😂 No disrespect but that was borderline awful. Both Noel and Liam got their individual solo bands playing well, so fair play in the end. I personally think Liam's solo band is terrible, he deserves much better. Noel's is ok right now. |

No Russ, please. Jeff Wooton, remember that young dude ? He played on BE and then left, that's who you wanna get. Call him, now. God no, Wooton played with Kasabian so that marks him down immediately. Associations with Beady Eye doesn't help either. At least Russ is northern, and roughly same neck of the woods as the Gallaghers. Seems like a decent guy too, not that clichéd surly look Wooton tried hard to replicate. |

Gem, russ & Chris are all probably on Noel’s payroll so makes it easier to get them in.
Adding bonehead for a few tracks would be good but maybe he has no interest in a big tour, dealing with Noel etc. Or the finances are just directed to sorting out the Gallaghers & that’s it.
I was fairly against a reunion but Liam was great when I saw him recently. Surprised how good.

I can take or leave a new album. Maybe something like Come On Outside being re-recorded with Liam’s vocals would be interesting but eh.
