I hope that many here understand that all of this means nothing and that on Tuesday, something completely different could easily be announced, rather than the band reuniting. I'm afraid that many have gotten too excited and that the potential disappointment could be painful. Would be a pretty hilarious, won't lie Can't say we didn't warn 'em haha |

It's obviously going to sell out instantaneously, how are we going to get tickets? The same scalpers as everybody else I imagine, Tickemaster UK etc... I have no idea. I keep seeing America mentioned but will they announce that with the U.K. dates? And I'm not sure I'd risk them breaking up before that.. Oh really? IDK the huge outpouring of love is guaranteed for the UK but not the US. I'll be surprised if they do come here. I still want to go to the UK though, the energy will be unparalleled. |

If they're doing as many gigs as are rumoured, then it shouldn't be too hard to get tickets for one (obviously the first gig back will be crazy high demand). Like if they're playing 10 nights at Wembley then that's about 900,000 tickets for London alone, before we add in any for Manchester or anywhere else – you shouldn't really need to go to scalpers if you're buying tickets on the day they go on sale, there's an enormous amount of supply if the rumours are true. Thank you, I was doing that math and hoping, plus what like 80k x 10 for Heaton Park? I'll go wherever. |

It was more a throwback to the 'leak is imminent' days when we had fake track lists floating around and people losing their minds. I remember someone claiming they'd heard I Wanna Live in a Dream (In My Record Machine) and it was 12 minutes with Noel on vocals and Liam muttering "dream, dream, I wanna live in a dream" during the outro. I wish that was real. That sounds amazing. The whole track list sounded amazing. It was posted on a semi-reputable site in like 2007. I remember there were songs called Step into the Light and Black as Coal, but it was a really in depth fake review. Whoever made it put a lot of effort in. |

Did anyone listen to the BBC Sounds 'Rise and Fall of Oasis' series with Jo Whiley and Steve Lamacq? Came out in July and the last episode was talking about the possibility of them getting back together and thought it was odd they were still discussing that nonsense. Maybe insider knowledge? They've been close as any journalists to Oasis since the beginning. Either way, it seems prescient.

These kind of articles circle about once a year for the past 10 years, I could post dozens from past years. Since then there's been more articles just repeating what's said in the others. The rest is just twitter hype. The odd cryptic Liam tweets which means nothing, it's Liam. Then the only other thing is Oasis have something happening on Tuesday morning at 8am. They're releasing DM on Friday, it could literally just be an old recording or a video. So really it's basically nothing that's never been said before. It's just got a bit more traction. It might happen, but I think a lot of people here are reaching really,based on what they're doing off i.e tabloid articles that could've been copied and pasted from older ones,and a few tweets. |
