I mean they aren't going to be Besties in 3 seconds. They never were But they can be cool again and have some fun nights out getting destroyed They used to be very close though. I roll my eyes at people who claim that they never liked each other or that Noel doesn't care for Liam. They are very wrong about this, just like how they were very wrong when they said stuff like "Oasis reunion will 100 % never happen. Period."

It's obviously going to sell out instantaneously, how are we going to get tickets? The same scalpers as everybody else I imagine, Tickemaster UK etc... May the best man win (my inner teenager vs. all the scalpers in the world)

Sadly with these things, the easiest tickets to get are the ones that end up on the secondary market almost instantly. Its organised crime. Still, if they're putting on as many gigs as people have said, it could be a bit easier. Even then I think they would probably not release every date at once, it might be staggered.

Because Chester Bennington's voice was an essential if not the most important part of their music? I personally hate it when bands do this. It's the reason why I'd never go see "Queen" for example. Edit: my initial post wasn't specifically about the "female" part it was kind of Mike Shinoda's band, though. As amazing as Chester was he was an industry plant into a band that just needed a singer. Almost all of their first record was written by Mike and his solo work has all been stellar. They're all younger than the Gallaghers, I'd hate to see them give up on a band they started as teenagers due to grief, I think Chester would want them to carry on But that's fan mode talking Oh I know f*ck all about Linkin' Park actually.

will Andy leave Ride for this? They might not have anything booked in for 2025. Also, as usual, the money would decide it. That's if he's even called up for it. I have my doubts about that actually.

If they're doing as many gigs as are rumoured, then it shouldn't be too hard to get tickets for one (obviously the first gig back will be crazy high demand). Like if they're playing 10 nights at Wembley then that's about 900,000 tickets for London alone, before we add in any for Manchester or anywhere else – you shouldn't really need to go to scalpers if you're buying tickets on the day they go on sale, there's an enormous amount of supply if the rumours are true.

Been a fan for 10 years this month (since i was 16) so the idea of them actually being a 'real existing band' just doesn't register in my head.

Would be a shame to leave Andy out if he's up for doing it, he was the bassist for about 10 years. I'm assuming Guigs won't want to, so imo that spot should be Andy's if he wants it.
Basically the final lineup plus Bonehead I think.

I keep seeing America mentioned but will they announce that with the U.K. dates? And I'm not sure I'd risk them breaking up before that..

You must have to think that surely they must have patched some stuff up. They’ve been praising each other for a while now.

There are some football clubs retweeting the announcement. Atlético Madrid in particular catches my eye. Maybe a Wanda Metropolitano date?

Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Andy, Gem and Alan White. I can see it being pretty much this lineup but w/o Andy, he's still very much a part of Ride at the moment and I can't see him leaving them myself
