I’m still surprised this reunion thread didn’t break the record of most users online, still currently held by Liam’s comeback in 2017. Damn. Really?!? Most registered users online in a single day. If you combine the guests, the August announcement eclipses it easily.

Fully agree; that and the bsides noel sung on the record that will be sung by Liam, like Step Out. I doubt there will be much material from post 00s records SOTSOG : go let it out maybe Gas Panic if they are feeling adventurous HC : SCYHO, LBL DBTT: Lyla (maybe they will try Let There Be love for "new" content). DOYS : Outta Time or Falling Down. That's it. The set will be 2 hrs max. The majority of it will be MG and DM . There will be no liam tunes. Mostly first two albums with possible Stand by Me, Go Let It Out, Lyla , Importance of being Idle with a few bsides such as Masterplan, Talk Tonight, Acquiisce, half the world away (def)If they play anything off DOYS it will be Shock of The Lightening but I would think they won’t play anything off that album.Failing Down killed the atmosphere when they played it liive last tour. Put simply it will be the best of oasis and classic bsides the last Oasis tour killed the atmosphere as a whole, not just Falling down; Importance of being Idle was as much liked as falling Down really; so maybe none of them. But noel will want to throw a few of his sung tunes. At least 5 : DLBIA, LbL, Half the world away, the masterplan are sure to be there; That leaves one or two. i dont think Shock of The Lightening will be played because they have a lot and better rock songs from the first 3 records so there is not need for this one, which people were bored with at tours in 2009 too. So my guess is it wont be there.

I hope they do the acoustic set in the middle like they did in 96, cast no shadow, whatever, masterplan etc... gives variety to the show. They should just do the Maine Rd set TBH

Yeah sad song and step out sung by Liam, i'd say its gonna happen. Half the world Away will stay will Noel As much as id love to hear boneheads bank holiday played, i doubt it will happen; Its very "obscure" and I dont see Noel greenlighting Bonehead singing;

See Noel has finally spoken... but just shite about Man City, spewing a paranoid victimisation complex because the authorities are trying to clamp down on their corruption. Quit the divorced dad energy and chat about the music please. Typical man of the people, he's obviously been hanging around tin foil hat wearing serial sex offender Russell Brand too much. The Premier League’s APT rules were brought in to protect a very small minority of clubs. Clubs which were involved in Project Big Picture and the Super League. Fuck Man City but the Premier League isn’t fit to govern itself. It needs to have an independent regulator. Fuck Richard Masters. He’s only there to do the bidding of a few select clubs.

It was a song only available on vinyl and it was a real treasure hunt to get it in 1996, coz first - the vinyl was hard to find (way harder than singles) and 2-You had to have a turntable to play. Same for Sad Song. I also love it, it was one of my favorite song by Oasis, too bad they never made a "lighter" album with songs like that. Its also not a coincidence that your husband liked Blur better, coz to me that song if the most "blur" song Oasis has ever done. It could fit on The great escape, easily; I suppose then he heard it during a drinking party at friend's who had a vinyl player. and by the time the song got played (end of disc one), pretty good chances he was drunk already

And you triggered a memory - I remember my then best mate sitting me down one night on the walk back from the pub and saying “sit down… Bonehead’s Bank Holiday.. I’ve got it.. I found the vinyl today and used Dad’s record player to tape it!” Was a holy grail in the era before YouTube!

Yeah, it was really an honour to have that song (and Sad Song); Luckily i had a turntable at home but i remember being really frustrated not to be able to play it on CD with my greeaaat 90s all in on cassette/CD and radio speakers ( ), or my DISCman on the go. Good times, exciting times indeed. the whole period between late 94 and mid 98 when there was new bsides every three months, that was the stuff. Saving money for the single, Going to the shop, (or shopS because they didn't have the single)... etc Too bad the new generation cant experience that. It was really special;

Sad Song appeared on a free compilation CD given away with The Big Issue magazine one week (Creation supplied a couple of free compilations for that magazine in the 90s I think). That might have been its first widespread availability on CD in the UK, I know it was on the Japanese Definitely Maybe too.

Think it might even be signed by Noel Gallagher himself.

I remember having a hard time finding Dont Go AWay japanese version to get Some Might Say demo. But we had more time on our hands, didnt we ? (Barely) no internet, no smartphone... I could spend hours in Virgin megastore and shops like that. Just looking at album covers and wondering if its good, if i should buy it...

I bought the don’t go away Japan single for about £25 in 2003, which was a lot for a single! It was annoying though because sad Song had the fade from the previous track, I think that was Cigs & Alcohol live at the G Mex. from memory the fourth track was the acoustic Fade Away which was also not something I had on CD until then. But I was never satisfied Re Sad Song until I got my hands on a Japanese definitely Maybe. The one I got also has Cloudburst on - not sure if that was standard or this was special edition

At the very least I have confidence Liam will deliver his best with her keeping him on track.

One of my favorite Oasis song ever too. Dont be hard on yourself, i probably paid as much when i bought it in 1998, japanese import have always been very expensive. Some Might Say demo and You've Got to Hide Your Love Away are on the SMS japanese single, which i also bought. but i dont remember buying it I agree the fade is annoying, but if you buy the DM CD Sad song is well alone and no fade in or out.

I'm not convinced this is actually true. They could do separate interviews for example and tell interviewers that any questions about the relationship between them is off limits. I would love to see Liam walk out insulting the interviewer for not respecting that This just seems like a throwaway answer, like Liam does sometimes, that the media is going with as fact, like the media does sometimes...

They have spent the past 30 years saying whatever they wanted in interviews and now they are scared of journalists lol I think it's pretty funny how press took that as a fact
