I know it's easy to forget because we're all superfans and we have a habit of playing down just how big a deal Oasis are.
But this should be a timely reminder of just how massive they are.
They are much bigger now than when they split.

29% of people on this thread still don't believe a reunion is happening.

It’s shit how they don’t advertise the price before the day. Thursday for prices.

I’m thinking 20 song sets. Noel prob on the mic for 3-4. Gonna lean heavy on the first 3 albums.
I think nothing gets played from SOTSOG sadly.
Only Little By Little from HC.
Lyla and Idle from DBTT.
And just Shock of the Lightning from DOYS.
It’s gonna be anthem city next summer and I’m fine with it. Life’s a celebration. We ride!!!

If they get through this tour and one of the States, then I expect they'll do a second slate in 2026. Because I can't see the schedule now for them to add the nights onto Wembley or Heaton that they'd need to come CLOSE to satisfying the demand.

The same number of days has passed between the release of Definitely Maybe and the band's breakup as between the breakup and the announcement of their reunion.

They are much bigger now than when they split. It's really weird to see people looking at the ticket sales for the last time Oasis toured. There's a massive difference between a band playing out their millionth tour and one reuniting after being gone for 15 years. The sales/interest is automatically going to be infinitely higher than before. In short, The DOYS tour isn't a comparable metric.

I’m so glad that the Oasis Live ‘25 tour next year is not branded as a What’s the Story Anniversary tour but rather a full celebratory reunion.
I’m sure there will be new music, too. There’s a full year to build the hype further. Oasis are back, and it’s news all over the world.

It’s unreal how many casual rock fans with no Oasis ties want to see them if they come to America at work. Nostalgia factor is growing. Hype is building. It’s looking like a must see event even if the under 30 crowd has no real Oasis blood in their veins.

Friend just told me they paid £160+ for Pearl Jam tickets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Get ready to be rinsed people. 💰 🐄 They were £160 for shit seats in co-op too. Reckon these will be between £80 (shit seats in the gods) and £120 for pitch standing. Probably be some “VIP” sections for £150+ too - that’s at Wembley. Heaton Park will be one price only as it’s all general admission. £120. If they do have a VIP section there that will be £200 I reckon.

I think a nice gentle tour around the UK (probably still travelling separately) will be a nice way to test the water. They will do very few joint interviews I think - the last joint one they did was for the Stop the Clocks promo with Colin Murray (and if you watch that back you will notice that Noel can't even look at Liam!!), so this will be a way of testing the water. If Noel can stand Liam and Liam can put up with Noel's entourage (Gordon Smart no longer being there will be a huge help) then this could be them back together permanently.

Hence the price gouging we are seeing all over the place.

I find it amazing that the idea of a reunion used to be quite divisive in this forum.
Yet, here we are, I think 99,9% of all messages I've seen are of excitement and sheer happiness.

The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.
I wonder if this is Noel subtlety giving us lyrics to upcoming new Oasis material? There's got to be new music coming as part of the reunion? Surely?!
I'd be massively disappointed if we didn't get at least a new song or two. Obviously Noel written, Liam sung.

Limiting the US dates/venues will also help in filling the stadiums, as opposed to an extended US arena tour. Everyone in the East would go to the NJ gig, everyone in the Midwest to Chicago, and the West to L.A. Oasis has enough fans in the US to fill up those stadiums if the number of gigs were limited.

I love the idea of Noel taking those lost 12 Oasis songs he found during quarantine and is now recording them with Liam as the “final” Oasis album. Such a cool idea someone floated earlier in the thread.

Big fan of all these new members popping up giving it Billy Big Bollocks to all those who've stuck around during the fallow years.
Really does feel like the old days.

And you'll have a ton of kids who weren't even fucking born in 2008 who will be trying to get tickets to these gigs. You're looking at 3-4 generations worth of people trying for tickets. I mean look how quickly Liam's arena shows sold out this year. They were gone in minutes. It's incredible to say you're 'disappointed' about a reunion, I know, but it's frustrating that they are coming back and they aren't doing 10 each at Wembley and Heaton because that's the only way they could actually get close to satisfying demand and even that won't be enough. But Oasis' management were always good at that, I guess. Now I have to (get to) experience it first hand lol
