thinking it'll be mostly classics but would be nice if they'd mix it up - throw some solo stuff in there as well. kind of like gnr glastonbury set for 2023 that was a great mash up of songs from all over.

Boy with the blues with orchestra and choir would be immense
They could also give soul love and evil eye the treatment they deserved

That’s actually something I’ve come here to post about….
Do you think we will get a full orchestra and/or a choir? Both elevate Oasis songs. And we need a proper rendition of Whatever.

Now the best thing is to see the singles from the solo periods sung by Liam and vice versa, come on 'What a Life' sung by Liam. But it's also true that they are Oasis, so I would suggest a 'Lyla'.

Noel will get Wired Strings and the Crouch End Choir in, surely.
I want them to do the Top of the Pops ending to Cigarettes and Alcohol, and just one night with Zak playing My Generation with the 2006 ending where they come back in after the drum solo.
I hope Chris has got as much energy as he did in 2008 ... Zak still bashes as hard as ever but all this setlist talk makes me wonder if he has the stamina for all this.

I think Noel might sing a fair few songs. He mentioned the old acoustic section quite fondly in the DM30 interview. Plus it will give Liam's voice a rest.

Never mind dynamic pricing, the lads should really have dynamic setlists which change slightly from show to show. The band is way too talented with a rich back catalogue not to do it.
Give me one reason why Oasis can’t do this. Provide some variation. Make each gig feel a bit different and special. Keep the crowd guessing.

Respectfully, a casual fan will not know the back catalogue. Expect a very vanilla setlist. 90% will be from Definitely Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

Good God why on earth would anyone want Beady Eye songs on this setlist?

Thinking of 8-10 Liam songs to kick off, a couple noel electric songs a comeback for Liam before the encore break, maybe some of the later ballads Noel sung to give Liam a little break
Tape This is Not a Drill/F... In The Bushes 1. Acquiesce 2. Morning Glory 3. Columbia 4. Cigs n Alcohol 5. Rock n Roll Star 6. The Hindu Times/Lyla/Shock of The Lightning(rotate them out) 7. Stand By Me 8. Supersonic 9. The Importance of Being Idle 10. Little By Little 11. Lord Don't Slow Me Down(either brother could sing this one) 12. Cast No Shadow 13. Whatever 14. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 15. Slide Away 16. Wonderwall
Encore Break
17. Dont Look Back In Anger 18. Champagne Supernova 19. Let There Be Love 20. I am The Walrus/My Generation(depending of who is the drummer, if its Zak then My generation, anyone else IATW)

I’ve seen the band 7 times over 3 tours and never managed to hear a song from Be Here Now. Which is the first album I bought.
That needs to change.

I’m starting to think they open with Acquiesce, followed by Hello. Save Rock N Roll Star as the final song of the night or the song right before I Am The Walrus closed it all down.

I would absolutely love to hear Gas Panic live but I know there's probably no way they'll play it. I'll have to stick to listening to the Familiar to Millions version.... 'Good fucking tune this, come on'

'Good fucking tune this, come on' Id say its not impossible. I can see them doing one tune off Giants, and if they do its 99% gonna be that or Go Let It Out.

Yeah i agree on the Acquiesce and Hello opening. After that i guess my preferred 3rd song would be Columbia. And then, if RnRS isnt 4th, id say it needs to end the main set or perhaps start the encore.

Even if nothing else, Stand By Me is pretty much guaranteed. You have to remember that its had such a resurgence since 2009. It was forgotten then. Its now one of their most iconic hits.

Yeah, it’s a shame that I don’t like that song. I saw Liam solo performing D’You Know What I Mean and Be Here Now and I found that great. I hope that Liam will have a say in the setlist, as I think he has better taste in Oasis track selection than Noel.

If "Stand By Me" was released as a 4:40-minute lead-single with a sweeter mix and little details like a better opening line and Noel singing that "nobody knooowsss.." back to Liam in the chorus, I maintain it would be a Morning-Glory level hit and would have single-handedly boosted the ongoing reputation and sales of Be Here Now.
A brilliant piece of song-writing.
