Thanks for the heads up, Jim. I remember Noel was doing some tiny promotion for the 10th Anniversary of DM in 2004, but he doesn't care of doing such things these days.

Have been listening to it. No new info really but its very strange listening back now to all the clips especially the ones that were actually from the Evening Session when Lamacq and Whiley were presenting it as it seems like yesterday for me but its really 30 years ago now.

Thanks for the heads up Jim, an entertaining listen from 2 people who were there from the very start. The scary thing is I remember a lot of the interview snippets from when they were broadcast originally. Showing my age! 😄

Just finished listening to it. Excellent quality and perfect that it's presented by two people that were there from the beginning (like us). Thanks for posting it Jim

Enjoyed that, also think the time spent on each period it perfectly sums up the Oasis story
2 Episodes on early days and DM 2 Episodes on MG and Knebworth 1 Episode on BHN 1 Episode on SOTSOG 1 Episode on HC, DBTT and DOYS combined
Managed to condense 7 years of music from 2002-2009 into one episode😂 can’t say I blame them

This is like a walk down my childhood…. I was there then. Just not old enough to be able to get the full experience.

On BBC sounds theres an archive collection of oasis radio sessions, Stand By Me and DYKWIM from the second night at gmex which was broadcast on radio one were used, hopefully we get a nice quality version of the complete the radio 1 coverage of that gig because they seem to trot out the second night at knebworth stuff a bit

I skipped the first few because that story has been told to death. Interesting to actually hear an official channel talking about latter day Oasis. Yes, it was rushed but they actually talked about Heathen Chemistry and the latter days.
I had a thought after listening to the last episode. Jo Whiley mentioned how the younger generation can binge watch Oasis now and it helps them rekindle their popularity. However, they are probably watching Maine Road and all the great and funny interviews. They probably aren't watching the (albeit decent) more recent gigs and I doubt they'd be able to recognise songs like Lyla or whatever.

I finally got round to listening to the whole thing, it was ok I guess but nothing special as there was nothing new to report and I think that they could have mentioned Liam's solo career more as well.
