15 in a scale of 20 in my first ever German test. Expected slightly better but i´m not used still to capitalize certain words you don´t in English or Portuguese and i lost some points because of that. It will get there and it´s a good starting grade. Happy with it, after those years that were a disaster in Management, i´m proving to myself i´m not dumb and i was just in the wrong area in college. Hopefully the trend will continue. And i also was finally alone with that girl i have somewhat of a crush on today. Had a walk through a park and thing with her, i think it went well. No awkward pauses in conversation and that´s always a plus. Let´s see where this goes, it will be different that usual because she basically does not text, so personal contact is the way to go every-time. But now i need this weekend to rest, tough week that ended with a German History exam half an hour ago. Top Leistung! Ok, that's about all that I remember.

A while back I mentioned watching a great Netflix stand-up show by a fella called Marc Maron in the hope that somebody else might wax lyrical about him and we could feel superior to the people who don’t share our admiration. This is another attempt. I haven't seen it yet but I love the guy. Do you listen to his podcast? He has a podcast? Must chase that up. He has 2 shows on Netflix, Too Real & Thinky Pain. So good.

DO IT It's an interview(or as he would call it, "talk") podcast, and he's had a ridiculous amount of intresting people on it, most of them working/having worked within comedy, music, film/TV. Hell, he even got to talk to Obama about two years ago, which was ridiculous if you know the journey he's had since he started the pod, which is basically the reason for his success today. Just google "WTF Podcast guests", and you won't regret it. Should I mention that he also had a TV show which might be worth checking out?

Top Leistung! Wofür lernst du deutsch? Und macht es dir spaß? Alle meine ausländischen Freunde lieben die Sprache aber hassen es sie zu lernen. Ich hoffe du hast alles verstanden Danke. I managed to understand a bit but not everything about what follows. To answer the first question, i have learnt some verbs, articles, how to do a negative sentence, Ja-Nein/Fragen and W-Fragen. I started the modal verbs this week along with the accusative articles. I also learned how to say the time, the numbers, months, days of the week, stations, alphabet, etc. A lot of stuff but still early days hence why some expressions of your post i don´t understand. I mean i understand the verbs on every sentence but because i lack the vocabulary of the rest in parts, i don´t know what you actually asked me bar the first three questions. ok, i see. my question was why you started learning german in the first place? work related?

I wanted to look down on other people who don’t know about this cool Jewish guy I’ve discovered. But now it’s obvious you’re a Maron black belt and I’m still dreaming of going from white to yellow. P.S. Throw it all at me. TV show, the lot.

I bet you don't even know the names of his cats, or about his time as Sam Kinisons young apprentice. Step up your game.

I’m starting to toy with the idea of re-applying to Queen Mary University of London for enrollment in September 2018. I’d rather not have further student loan debt, but that sounds like a problem for “future 2019 Ben.” #qmul guigsysEstring

I’d rather not have a further $20,000 of student debt, but that sounds like a problem for “future 2019 BenNigel.” guigsysEstring Tidied Good that your planning a future, but I would still go back to our previous discussions on this matter in also seeing if you can do the same or an equivalent course in the US for less cost. You will then have less debt and perhaps more disposable income to travel independently to London and other places on you own terms for pleasure, rather than any stresses relating to mounting debts and studies. If QMUL does turn out to be the best move forward academically then go for it by all means, but make sure you have plans in place re: finance, ongoing support and sudden emergencies Good luck, Guigs

i totally love This is England and the tv shows that followed this is hands down one of the best scenes from the movie Brilliant film - I just watched it this week actually. First saw it when it came out, this was the second time. A little hard to watch in parts due to the violent skinhead's rages - good acting on his part and all. Lots of good ska music in there, and a Smiths cover at the end.

Oh the combination of no sleeping and driving car for +7 hours and probably inhaling decent amount of exhaust fumes or some other shite.
I'm feeling VERY light headed. Almost like drunk/high.

Looks like Franck Nivard won't be driving tomorrow, huge hematoma on his back with further exams to check his head complaint coming. Hospitalised overnight for observation. I don't think there was malice by Barrier, just a wrong place at the wrong time situation.
EDIT: These people praying Nivard is there Sunday don't know how much they hurt.

Angus has now lost two brothers in a very short time Btw, I've read people saying Malcolm was the real driving force behind AC/DC. Do you know if it's true?

Angus has now lost two brothers in a very short time Btw, I've read people saying Malcolm was the real driving force behind AC/DC. Do you know if it's true? The quote is from Angus Young according to news sources, and it wouldn't surprise me given the various talents behind the band including older brother George Young who co-produced their early records. I think it's probably both true as a statement whilst remembering other people played their parts, and also a tribute to a long time friend and cohort as well as in Angus's case a brother.
