Just realised half of my friends are really racists and strongly oppose immigration... Which is actually really common attitude here :/ Wait, before i reply i need to make sure.... are you implying that if one doesn't support immigration then they're racist?

Well, no, but they're always linking some crime news and then comment something racist if he's black or something. The n-word is still quite popular if it's just a private chat.

Okay so the sale for Neighbourhood Weekender festival where Noel plays is starting today and I have to make the decision now because it will probably sell out quickly. I'm going to sleep soon and I'll probably set the alarm... But is it worth it? Some nice artists and I'd get to see Manchester and probably Scotland too, but it'd also cost quite a lot of money. And is it even that nice experience? Probably just lots of girls screaming to Courteeners. Although minus the screaming and Courteeners that could be considered a positive thing

For the past couple of years I'm noticing an increasing misogyny in Spain, specially in young people. I thought we were more egalitarian (is that the word?) as a country. But everyday I'm proved wrong by people on the internet, the media or even politics. I feel like things are getting out of control and I stumble upon comments I can't even believe, I though that mentallity was buried in the past, but I'm afraid it's not.

And for several years I did the same, I chose to think people were just being trolls on the internet, but it has started to translate into real life behaviour in this country. For example a year ago 5 guys raped a girl in San Fermin, they even filmed it and shared it online in a private chat with 20 friends. The trial is still on, the judge didn't admit the filming as a prove, and the lawyer of the rapists has submitted as evidence a recent picture of the girl's social media where she is smiling and said 'would a raped girl smile? She doesn't look sad to me.' And the worst part is media are also protecting the rapists.

I hope they're found guilty, of course.

For the sake of my own sanity, I choose not to see people's behaviour online as a reflection of their real life personality. Maybe that's idealism, though. I would like to believe you were right but unfortunately in my experience online behaviour has proven to be the best indicator of the true personality of associates and family members. Perhaps it is more so with people of older generations who still haven't clicked for example that much of one's social media content can still be found by others regardless of how personal or private the settings are. I think I have said before that I don't have personal social media accounts but even through our corporate or looking via my siblings on occasion I have been taken aback by the prejudice, racist and simplistic political opinions expressed by people who in some cases have previously sat at a meal or on business with me and expressed very different views to the ones on their social media. I assume this is due to feeling that the perceived anonymity or privacy makes it perfectly OK to, in some cases I have seen, demand deportation of anyone essentially not of pure Saxon blood, kill all followers of a certain religion (I'm sure I don't need to name it ) and support for Government or multinational corporate policies that they don't seem to realise will cost them as much as any "lowlife" they believe exists and is targeted. Maybe I am being too cynical and the comments, etc. are not a true reflection of their personality, but then again if it is not what they really believe then why say it in the first place?

I'm not on social media. I'm only on this forum and I have my email account. That's it for me. I believe social media is a mirror of our present society, sadly. I don't think I behave different outside internet. I am what I am and I can't stand people having a big mouth towards others (insulting, making a fun of somebody by skin colour, where someone is from, someone's disablity, religion etc).
You don't say what you don't want to be told to you by others. You don't treat others what you don't want to be treated. What goes around, comes around. In the end of the day, it comes back to you.

I thought I wasn't obsessed with this girl anymore but today she sat next to me and I went burgundy in about five seconds. When she sat down she said "Hey best friend" (sarcastic 'cos the only time we talked we talked about we didn't like each other's music taste) and I felt like I'd been hit by a car.
She's so beautiful it makes me want to self-harm.

I think that you are taking "love hurts" too literally there lad, although the Gram Parsons/Emmylou Harris version of that tune is great That aside thanks for the reminder of youth, and this one goes out to Generation X

15 in a scale of 20 in my first ever German test. Expected slightly better but i´m not used still to capitalize certain words you don´t in English or Portuguese and i lost some points because of that. It will get there and it´s a good starting grade. Happy with it, after those years that were a disaster in Management, i´m proving to myself i´m not dumb and i was just in the wrong area in college. Hopefully the trend will continue.
And i also was finally alone with that girl i have somewhat of a crush on today. Had a walk through a park and thing with her, i think it went well. No awkward pauses in conversation and that´s always a plus. Let´s see where this goes, it will be different that usual because she basically does not text, so personal contact is the way to go every-time.
But now i need this weekend to rest, tough week that ended with a German History exam half an hour ago.

She´s gonna be busy the coming weeks, so it was good to have this today or i would have to wait even more. Personal contact is the way to go every-time for me as well. Texting should only be a complement.

Just bought these bad boys. Beats X Wireless Earbuds www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NC389VR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1They are going for $100, and I had a $50 Amazon gift card from my sister, so it was well worth a punt, coming to $60 with taxes. I really wanted the Bose Noice Cancellation Earbuds, but the reviews for those were way too mixed to warrant a $300 price tag! In any case, can’t afford those fuckers.

The town where I live tends to be more right wing. But I guess it's understandable. When I was in school I only saw couple of students with foreign backgrounds. It was quite rare to see people with darker skin, etc. The only non-Finnish people who lived in here were Russians and gipsys, and we hated them both. Now since the immigration boom the amount of refugees in my town has increased A LOT and people don't like it. I guess humans are naturally a bit racists so when they encounter something new they tend to be against it. And about the n-word, it used to be common. Under ten years ago we even had a very popular chocolate candy called "Nigger's kiss" that was sold at every store. Now it's just called "The Kiss" (in our language ofc).

Alle meine ausländischen Freunde lieben die Sprache aber hassen es sie zu lernen. Ich hoffe du hast alles verstanden Danke. I managed to understand a bit but not everything about what follows. To answer the first question, i have learnt some verbs, articles, how to do a negative sentence, Ja-Nein/Fragen and W-Fragen. I started the modal verbs this week along with the accusative articles. I also learned how to say the time, the numbers, months, days of the week, stations, alphabet, etc. A lot of stuff but still early days hence why some expressions of your post i don´t understand. I mean i understand the verbs on every sentence but because i lack the vocabulary of the rest in parts, i don´t know what you actually asked me bar the first three questions.

A while back I mentioned watching a great Netflix stand-up show by a fella called Marc Maron in the hope that somebody else might wax lyrical about him and we could feel superior to the people who don’t share our admiration.
This is another attempt.
