I know it's immature but reading through the kiddies corner thread always makes me laugh A couple of responses to my posts have ended up in kiddies corner. I consider it a badge of honour

I met some nice guy in Kasabian gig last summer. I think he and his mate were from London.
Anyway, I just went through the fb event participant list trying to find him and was amazed how many beautiful women there were. Like every one of them was at least 8.

Anyone else ever have days where you can think about nothing bar going on a massive killing spree? I'm such an ugly, worthless, loser but there's no point trying to fix anything because i'll always be ugly and alone and nothing will ever console me with that being the case. Good job we can't carry guns in England! What a lovely thought I just had there. Seriously though, anyone who's not unattractive and the opposite sex has the slightest bit of interest in you, you have no fucking idea how lucky you are, it's pretty fucking grim on the other side of the fence! Uh huh.

The good burghers of my local supermarket just had an excited spray of Go Let It Out in the underground car park.

I just spent the entire day working on the dishwasher.. not a big deal but the fact that my dad ( he had a 6lb tumor on his hip removed a couple years ago and the chemo and radiation basically destroyed his hip bone.. it literally crumbled into pieces and he had a hip replacement a few months ago) anyways, all he could do was hold the flashlight... It's hard to watch your parents get old. Especially when you are completely alone. My brother died, no husband or kids... just my parents,me and my dogs.

Your parents are so fortunate that you spend time with them. I'm sure your father was very pleased that he could help you by holding the flashlight. I think the greatest thing we can do for our parents as they age is to ensure that they feel useful and engaged with the world.

Just finished my 6th day (night) at work and now I have couple of days free I was driving home and first JAMC - Cracking Up started playing. I had it really loud and especially that bassline made it sound fucking amazing. After that was World Of Twist - Sons Of The Stage and I just couldn't help but sing along. If you're ever feeling down that song will put you back in the right track, great song!

Be there for your dad and cherish every moment you spend with him. My dearest mum passed away 2 years ago and I'm still grateful to spend with her in the last 7 days of her life. My dad passed away long time ago, so I have no home where I can go back, but I built my own with my better half. It's hard to carry on, but keeping live your life with beautiful memories with your parents gives you a strength.

RIP Chad Hanks and fuck Amerikin Overdose for making this into a 'our band is better than your band' fight again. You don't win fans fighting then say 'wah give me respect', that's how to lose them

Fuck's sake... Should I keep doing shit job that pays well but takes all my social life or quit and find something new?
I wanted to quit it in the end of the year (when my contract ends) but now they're offering new contract till the end of March.

Hey people knocking Bazire for 4 days for doing the same thing twice, try Nivard being suspended 25 days for an alco fueled stomach ache.

A friend of mine graduated 2 years ago as a history teacher. Still hasn't found a job and works at a furniture store in the carpet department. It's better than nothing. Another friend of mine is a graphic designer and works at a callcenter.

I work at a clothing store and I just don't understand why people are so fucking rude when they come shopping. I'm not trying to make you spend more money and I'm not keeping you from getting any deals. If I ask you if you're finding everything okay, it's because you look lost, not because I want to chit chat all afternoon. No, I'm not going to give you 50% of a $20 shirt because it's creased, it doesn't matter how loud you raise your voice, you're not getting it. Why can't people just be polite? It's not hard.

I’m so sorry you’re going through a hard time, as well. Yeah, it’s tough seeing parents age - I just turned 30, and my dad is 74....my parents are old especially relative to my age. We can get through this. Keep reaching out, it makes a big difference.

I had various jobs in my teenage years, like at a fish stand and at a supermarket while I was in uni. I also once had a job during summer vacation where I cleaned at old people's houses. The amount of shit people even DARE to say in your face is amazing. They treat you like you're stupid because of the side job you're doing. It wasn't even my full time job and even if it was, then what? I respect everyone who is able to work and does it, no matter what job. If you insult people because of their job, then you're a major scumbag as far as I'm concerned.
