Do you think if Sea World hadn't trained Free Willy to jump so high he wouldn't have been able to escape? I know, it's a proper head fuck innit.

oasisserbia how hard is it to get tickets to Red Star - Partizan derby? Friend asked if I wanna go there in December. e. My current plan is to fly to Amsterdam 10.12. Plane tickets only 40€ and there is Ajax vs. PSV that day. Then 1-2 nights there and we'd fly to Belgrad for 35€ The rest of the trip is still unplanned.

Would Del Boy have voted Labour or Tory, in Only Fools' hayday? Considering Series 6 was the peak, probably Tory. But had Rodders taken the time to teach him a few things in the scene prior, maybe evoking their childhood with Mum + Grandad, the emotional ending would probably be him deciding to vote Labour after all. Thanks.

I came up with a nice guitar riff when listening to White Stripes' Blue Orchid. I actually listened to it for the first time, never heard it before, and tried to play along on guitar. I had listened to the song for 15 seconds while trying to play something close to it. Then I paused song and realised I have my own riff I hope it's not too similar, though.

Plane tickets only 40€ and there is Ajax vs. PSV that day. Then 1-2 nights there and we'd fly to Belgrad for 35€ The rest of the trip is still unplanned. Listen mate, I will be honest, I would recommend you not to go Belgrade derby. Don't romanticize our derby, forget about all that lists about best derbies. Belgrade football derby is no joke and it is not something that you can see in Finland or Scandinavia. And it's not like Ajax vs. PSV. And it's nothing like that football hooligans movie with Frodo I know that you have that Oasis spirit in you, drinking and singing with your mates, cigs, drugs, maybe fighting...but this is something else and it is really dangerous. We don't have local gangs, ghettos, dangerous neighborhoods, you can take any bus in Belgrade in any time of the day and go to every neighborhood that you want and nothing will happen to you. But we have football hooligans. Football hooligans groups were created by government and secret service in late 80s to fight in wars in early 90s. And since then, they are working for government and doing all the dirty work, drug dealing, murders etc. Goverments are changing and they are always there. I'm not sure if government is not strong enough to destroy them or they don't have any desire to destroy them because they are doing government's dirty work. Leaders of hooligan groups are well known drug dealers, criminals, even murderers...There are war veterans among them. Hooligans are using guns, knives...and we have some dead kid in every few months. Aca Radovic, 17 years old kid, was hit in the chest by a signaling rocket fired from the opposite end of the stadium and killed. And football is shit and corrupted. We are basketball nation. We won silver medal on Eurobasket two days ago without 8 of our 12 best players (Teodosic, best European player in last few years, Jokic, best Denver Nuggets player and future NBA All Star, Bjelica, Kalinic...) Only one player from our starting five was playing. And we won silver on Olympics 2016. and silver on World Cup 2014. And we had many golds in the past. Basically, we are the best basketball nation after USA. Red Star Belgrade is playing basketball Euroleague (top 16 clubs in Europe). There are football hooligans on basketball matches but they are minority and they don't have opposite fans on matches in Euroleague. Everybody is saying that is the best atmosphere in the World when Red Star or Partizan are playing home Euroleague. 20 000 fans singing as one, you can feel the tension in the air but there are never incidents. And we are playing in normal, modern arena, Red Star's and Partizan's football stadiums are shit-holes. And I'm not a snob but there is nothing charming about bathrooms like that one from Trainspotting where someone is always snorting cocaine and asks what are you looking at, do you want me to stab you, when you enter the bathroom. Red Star - Efes 08.12.2017 Red Star - Panathinaikos 21.12.2017 (that would be great match because they are our enemies because we are brothers with Olympiacos but there will be no away fans so no danger) And if you really want to go to football derby, yes, there will be tickets, I don't think that stadium was 100% full in last 20 years.

Thanks oasisserbia Something to think about... But isn't it supposed to be relatively safe when you're neutral viewer? Actually when I was in Albania one guy in our group had gone to that derby alone five years earlier. He found some guy from facebook group who sold him tickets and ended up going to Red Star "ultras section" with him. Said the match was amazing and nothing dangerous happened to him.

Actually when I was in Albania one guy in our group had gone to that derby alone five years earlier. He found some guy from facebook group who sold him tickets and ended up going to Red Star "ultras section" with him. Said the match was amazing and nothing dangerous happened to him. Well, I was on at least 20 derbies and nothing ever happened to me but I don't plan to go ever again. I don't even like to be in the city on the day of derby. 99.9999999999999999999999 % nothing will happen to you, it's just that you have to be aware that worst scum is on the streets that day. It doesn't matter if you are neutral viewer, stadium is actually the safest place. You have to get to the stadium. In Belgrade it's not like that, for example, north Belgrade are Red Star fans and south Belgrade are Partizan fans. In every building, neighborhood... there are Delije and Grobari and they are coming to the stadiums from all sides. When you are walking to the stadium, sometimes you don't know who is who. And then some fight happens and some group is basically fighting with everyone on their way, I was chased by Red Star fans and I am Red Star fan No time to explain But wearing some Red Star t-shirt or scarf is even more dangerous. It is also dangerous when you are coming for the first time. There is no place for mistakes. You can't just ask some random guy , excuse me, I have tickets for North Stand (Red Star), how do I get there? Maybe you are asking the wrong guy, if you know what I mean, and you are surrounded by Partizan fans There are fights all over the city before and after game. And you can't just take a taxi to the stadium, you can get near the stadium but you will have to walk from there. Again, I am making it worse than it is, you will probably say, that pussy oasisserbia, nothing happened, what was he talking about? But there are always from 20-200 injured people after derby, ok, there are 50 000 on stadium but I am not willing to take that risk. Especially because Belgrade derby is not that special. It is special maybe comparing to some other derbies but for me, better atmosphere is on Red Star Euroleague basketball matches or football Europa League (Red Star vs Cologne 7.12.2017). Even regular Serbian Football Superleague game can be great when you are in North Stand.

QMUL extension denied. Kind of expected. Would have to reapply if I desire to return. Fair enough, really.

A guy had a OM shirt and basically walked near a Nice ultra group. 15 guys jumped on him and a violent fight started. My dad and I were like 10 meters away from it, it was fucking dumb to see those stupid monkeys. Fortunately, policemen stopped the fight quite fast. Derbies (or almost derbies) are always the most violent games, never seen violence out of the stadium before a "normal" match.

Ok, they were fighting which I don't support but with no weapons. Look how are those fightings look now

Starting to talk with some mates and my brother about making some kind of movement to improve the life of the town. Too much shit has been done by the actual mayor.
I'm even willing to suggest my candidacy for the next elections just to tell how much this town suffered of mayor inactivity (even if I don't see myself as a mayor and I can't stand the big majority of politicians).
