I know that public shaming is wrong, but this is so appalling that I just can't stay silent. The author of these lovely tweets is a grown man who posts in this very forum. I don't know what's wrong with people sometimes. Hate throwing out incredulous words like 'ban him!' but fuck it, ban him.

I don't know what's wrong with people sometimes. I really cannot understand how anyone can get so worked up about something as insignificant as whether a singer showed up at a music festival. Who cares? This kind of tabloid-like obsession with people (and its Liam vs. Noel manifestation) is by far my least favorite part of the forum. Most of the time I don't care about who made the music, just about the music itself. And I'd say that we should ban him too, but I'm not sure if it's right to ban someone for something they've done on another social media platform. But then again, you can be fired from your job for misconduct outside the workplace....

This is what concerns me, not the insults, but the fact he's a grown ass man who worships another grown ass man who doesn't have him as a thought in their mind any time of the day. I see this behavior far too frequently in gaming forums / gaming related parts of the web just like this, even with men in their 40s or 50s!

Not sure I can take this place when new Gallagher material is released, it goes insane! Nearly as good as when we have election and referendum threads... What do you predict for Thursday, guigs? Along with everyone else, I was resigned to another five years of the Tories when the election was called, but as voting day draws closer... I tell ya, guigsy old boy, it'll break my heart if Labour aren't in power come June 9th. Apparently, 10,000 people turned up to hear Corbyn speak at a rally in Gateshead this evening; and, you know, there's been a lot of movement in the polls in recent weeks... But I just think the cumulative weight of over a year's worth of biased media reports telling people about how "unelectable" Corbyn is (along with all that other shite about the IRA and Hamas, etc.), will be too great an obstacle in the way for many voters, and those cunts in the Tory party'll be allowed back into Downing Street again after all. I think that would be such a shame. Not only could Corbyn be the first person elected Prime Minister without the backing of Rupert Murdoch in donkey's years, but I genuinely think he would make a good job of it as well. Seeing a bit more of him during this election campaign, he's come across as a well reasoned and knowledgable man to me. For sure, I'd rather have him and his team going in to negotiate Brexit than May and hers. No deal is better than a bad deal? Theresa, you top hat! ... And another thing!...whilst I'm in the mood...What's your opinion of the BBC at the minute? Do you think they've managed to avoid partiality in their reporting of this campaign? Because I'm not so sure, myself. I feel like I'm slowly, but very surely, losing my patience with them.

Tbh makes me happy not to have it...

Because I'm not so sure, myself. I feel like I'm slowly, but very surely, losing my patience with them. To be honest lad after 2015, Brexit and Trump I really don't know as opinion polls and predictions seem to bear little resemblance to outcomes of late. I would agree that there does appear to be a strong effort by vested interests to oppose Corbyn irrespective of actual facts or by the usual distortion of words, which would make sense because as recent results have shown putting up a supposedly "shoo-in" option e.g. Remain or Clinton with all canvassed views pointing towards it is no longer a certainty. Corbyn if he did gain office still has a monumental task ahead of him both home and overseas, with on going situations and the rising tensions on the Korean peninsula and yesterday with Qatar for example. That all being said should he be able to stick to his views, by and large, then he does have a chance of altering current situations for the better by at least attempting different approaches to individual situations. May, actual policies and further reductions of civil liberties planned aside, strikes me as someone out of her depth quite frankly. IMO she imagined this election would be her Thatcher/Blair landslide that swept the opposition from view and vindicated her stance, but instead she is falling further each week and increasingly relies on media attacks on opposing views rather than coming out with genuinely workable solutions to current issues. The BBC I will hold my hands up and say from an ideological point of view I am never in favour of a state broadcaster, regardless of political slants. The corporation to be fair is no worse than other MSM outlets at various points although it does grate that to own a piece of televisual equipment i am obliged to pay a broadcaster whose views I may or may not agree with for the privilege, as opposed say Murdoch or any commercial network where if I do not agree I do not subscribe to or watch their output. On the subject of the election I noticed on a YT advert Russell Brand as one of the faces to the "cast your vote" campaign, a turnaround from the man who arguably helped (albeit it wasn't responsible for their choice in not voting ) in dissuading younger voters from doing so I'm the last election- maybe times are a-changin'? Hope this makes sense after a heavy few days, as always comments, questions and abuse are all welcome

Hate throwing out incredulous words like 'ban him!' but fuck it, ban him I'm not a fan of being reactionary either matt but in the spirit of the original Twitter poster and to be one of those older gamer types that really should know better as glider referred to I shall simply say-

Reposting for someone on a FB group I know (mainly looking at Londoners): Seb is missing after the London bombings, please if you could share to have a lesser clue that would be nice. It is an acquaintance. Thank you.
What I know -he was in London Friday during the attacks -Works in a restaurant in Mayfair that may or may not have been attacked, the Blue Print Cafe. (If that's one word, apologies) -lost at Borough Market. His friends have no clue where he is after that point. - He was wearing beige shorts, red shoes Fred Perry, white t-shirt, denim jacket and carried a beige backpack. If you know of his whereabouts, let me know.

Tbh makes me happy not to have it... I agree. I'm not on social media and I don't miss it either. Those comments on twitter are shocking. Language by lunatic and someone who's acting like a tough guy behind his computer/phone/laptop. We don't need people like him and don't want him to be a member of this forum.

For fuck's sake. They told me that I should've visited army doctor for my sciatica if I wanted to get restitution after the service.
I went to the doctor once but she said it's probably nothing bad and I should come again if it gets worse. It hasn't so I never visited again but it's not healed yet. Now I tried again but it's too late because my service ends next week.
It fucking sucks that army caused me probably life long backpain and they won't even give any restitution.
