So, I went out tonight in my local town.... I ended up with 4 bleeding knuckles...
A spraint ankle (from dancing too hard, as per usual)...
I told someone I was madferrit...
Also spent an hour talking to a life long drug addict about his ups and downs in life.
Can you see why I don't go out more often now?
Cheers.

I thought we Americans had it bad with Christians influencing oppressive legislation, but you guys have it so much worse. Islam is a poison. It's a cancer that has already destroyed almost the entirety of the Middle East and continues to spread outward, bringing with it all the chaos. Yes, I am a liberal saying this.
I implore any reasonable and peaceful person of the Muslim faith to drop the religion entirely. It's 2017 and the age of science. We have to start letting go of bronze age beliefs, especially when they are the source of so much harm. I understand most Muslims don't do these terrible things. The fact is that enough do. They do it in the name of Islam. There's no getting around that.
I get that it is the religion you were raised with and the religion your parents were raised with and so on...but the cycle has got to end. Is your comfort with the religion and promise of an afterlife worth the suffering of so many others? This will only continue to occur for so long as the Muslim faith continues to exist. Let's not forget that it's a faith for a reason. Because there's no evidence to support the belief. Break the cycle. Stop the religious indoctrination. Abandon the belief and all the baggage it carries. The world will be better off.
I'm sure this comment will piss many off. I mean you no ill will. But I do not respect the religion or the people that continue to support it and in doing so, indirectly create radicals. Please consider what is said here, because this shit must end. It's not even happening in my country yet and I'm pissed. I can't be alone.

My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones by the attack in London last night. I visited Borough Market a couple of times when I was in London and I loved the place.
Stay strong Britain.

Worst of all, I don't really know what we can do to stop this shit.

Those are 20th century beliefs, no religions, no nations, blah, blah, and everybody will live in peace. The truth is, we have scum in every nation and they will always find their way and their excuse for what they are doing. Kids are dying on streets of Serbia because they are fans of some football club. After all wars in 90s against other nations, religions...idiots found another reason to hate and kill other people-they are fans of different football club. So, it's not about nations and religion, it's about human scum. They are everywhere and they are killing people because of money, football, religion, territory, reputation, girlfriend...it doesn't matter. We need to build societies of good and humble people and educate and give all our love to scums in our societies but at same time, monitoring them and sanctioning them if necessary from their childhood. You can not erase that information that they are fighting the war against west. Idiots will always get that information and find it tempting to join. In city of million Muslims, 999 999 will mind their own business but there will always be one idiot who will think that is good idea to blow himself up because of what west did to his country. In city of million atheists, 999 999 will mind their own business but there will always be one idiot who will think that is good idea to blow himself up because of what west did to his country.

Because if you compare the Koran with the bible, they're just as equally bad. The fact that Islamic terrorism is the most widespread and poisonous form of terrorism today doesn't change that. It's not the differences in scripture that has created more Islamic than Christian terrorists, it has to do with other aspects.

I'd say it has a slight edge, but for the most part they're equally horrible. It has much to do with the society built around the book and their level of devotion to its word. Christians tend to know better when they come across immorality in The Bible. They either ignore it and pretend its not there or try to justify it in some way while acknowledging it's terrible ("But that's the Old Testament..." excuse) I don't see that as often with Islam. The written word is perfect and unfaltering. Frankly, I wish they'd both go the way of the dinosaurs. I do think the world would be a better place. Lots of problems exist within both religions purely because the promise of an afterlife. Why live this life to your best and fullest when you're promised an eternity in paradise?

In city of million atheists, 999 999 will mind their own business but there will always be one idiot who will think that is good idea to blow himself up because of what west did to his country. I must disagree on the most fundamental level. Will radicals disappear? Of course not. Everybody has radicals. But it's undeniable to say that there is a disproportionate number of Muslim radicals causing a disproportionate number of injuries and death. That's a problem. I think there is a solution. Our beliefs inform our actions. On a daily basis. If we encourage people to let go of beliefs that are poorly reasoned, we increase a persons ability to think rationally and more accurately when making decisions which affect others. As a social species, our every day decisions often impact those around us, even if in the most minute of ways. It's very important to have a solid foundation of knowledge under our belt. This is why education is paramount. All god believing religions are built on poor rational and poor evidence. This is why faith is required. When you have evidence, you don't use faith. Unfortunately, some of these religions say some pretty terrible things, which many people take to heart. You say "one idiot" in reference to Muslim extremism. This is minimizing what's actually occurring. When a disproportionate number of atheists start wreaking so much havoc, then maybe I'll consider your point. But even so, what dogma does an atheist have to push them towards violence? I'm not aware of any belief under the atheist belt other than a general agreement that they're not convinced any gods exist. Fact of the matter is that the problem is stemming from Islam. And you need only ask the devout radicals why they do what they do. Is Islam their only reason? Of course not. But it's a major one. And it's worth considering that if they were never exposed to that dogma to begin with and had a solid education that maybe they would have sought out a different path.

Why live this life to your best and fullest when you're promised an eternity in paradise? So do I. But it sure feels hopeless sometimes. You can present facts and counterpoints, but in the end it is an extremely tough fight to win. If religion has been a part of your entire life, it becomes who you are, and by getting rid of it you lose a sense of what you are, which must be a scary fucking thing to experience. I really sympathize with a lot of religious people whose minds are being held hostage by their religion, (a lot of them feel quite good about it and are decent people, I'm not referring to them) while you simultaneously understand why they hold on to it. Especially if they live in the poorest parts of Africa/the middle East. Who can blame them if they desperately want to believe that there's a better world waiting as soon as they are through with their struggling lives on earth. But yeah, as positive as the thought of an afterlife is to them, keeping their spirits up etc, there would be no suicide bombers if no one believed in life after death. It's a complicated little thing, religion...

I'm not right wing, racist, or someone who discriminates easily and I want nothing more than for people to be safe. If that means they have to come to our countries, okay, fine, no problem.
BUT those IS fighters and also the refugees over here who have caused fights, kidnapped people, murdered people...they don't make it easy for the others, and they don't make it easy for me to stay that open minded. I dare to admit that.

www.reddit.com/r/Glitch_in_the_Matrix/I've been reading some posts from this subreddit and find it really fascinating. I'm not sure if I should trust all of them but they really are weird. Actually I found it after I got strange deja vu feeling. One of my army mates showed me a video and it felt like I've experienced all this before. Especially when watching the video even though it was new and filmed today. Even though it's very unlikely I've thought if it's possible that these things are caused by simulation or some kind of alternative universes overlapping. I dunno but I've found these sci-fi things interesting ever since I was a child. Or maybe I've watched too much Doctor Who lately...
