I oughta backhand Richard Swainston, the second to Ave Avis was with Matthieu Abrivard in the sulky, NOT Bazire. Learn your facts.

ALERT ALERT: Kihlstrom does not (again) know what he is doing, now the final shot to finish Nuncio off will go to Franck Nivard in 27 days. Bwahaha!!

I was playing guitar and came up with nice sounding chord progression but it sounds quite familiar. Does anyone recognize this? clyp.it/mnnkjznkOh and I need to change strings again... e. Star Roving. My chords are E-B-G-A and Star Rovings sounds like E-B-D-A(?)

OUCH!!!!!!!! Get well soon Adrian Fouassier! Fell heavily on his neck. I'd make a joke, but two in as many days? No point.

Went to the forest with my other half this afternoon. A long walk in the sun and it was nice. Very relaxed and peaceful Sunday.

Hahahahaha but just look at all those details hahahaha Lot of people here, I can't tell any band members (sorry), Liam is here already looking cool as fuck wearing sunglasses and a black parka although it's 30 degrees at least in here... and there's a tambourine hanging down his mic I'm only allowed to film from one perspective (straight at Liams mic) and whatever gets recorded I need to get checked after. They just started making noise (nothing more ) but Liams "1,2" gave me goosebumps. Last time I heard him live was nearly 3 years ago in rome. First song is a new song that I dont know. Loud and fast. Liams voice sounds great. Tambourine is smashed already Flick of the finger right after Flick again cause it was aborted. Liam said "even U2 fucks it up sometime" New song. Again loud and fast. Those three songs would make one hell of a start. What was that sound ringing around your brain My ears are ringing already but this is totally worth it. Dont think they start their sets with this but Liam sounds great still. No cutting words at all. Trumpets come up for the next song which is a new one. Wow...huge song, they ended it with a few bits of Whatever. Next one is Evil Eye... Power cut during evil eye which didnt sound good to be honest. Liam is pissed Back again, Liam said "30 songs to go" Listen Up!!! lower key but this was perfect. Next ones will be BHN songs. DYKWIM Ashcroft is here DGA and SBM in very short versions. Liam didnt sing a lot of them and they cut the songs. MBM next one. All in all Liam is on fire his voice is great so far. Short break now. Mic also just got smashed Ashcroft will do two songs with them later. Could also be in London with Liam in march but he didn't wanna say for sure. Few things: I can't prove any of this now so either you believe it or not and I'm fine with both. But wait a few more weeks/months and you will see yourself. And no this won't be the setlist for the shows they just test the songs. Also I'm not the only one here. People from Q and NME are here too as far as I saw. But the only recording I will have Next ones will be new songs again. First song I really dont like. Acoustic, repetitive, nananas, with Ashcroft on guitar and backround vocals (singing nanana with Liam on the same mic) First single sounds huge live. Big chorus and solo. Another new song. Sounds great. Ashcroft on guitar. But Liam isn't happy BOADC He started singing DLBIA following a "don't believe the hype". Everyone was quiet for a few seconds Worlds not set in stone is next. I always liked the song and now I love it another break now apparently. Four Letter Word Live Forever but Liams voice is giving up soon :/ Yeah that's it. They tried a new song but his voice is fucked. He had a cold apparently. A shame but until now it was great I think. Anyway that's it from me now. And yeah you ladies will get your proof but until then you won't have any other choice to believe it or not...

theyknowwhatimean , what's up with Bowie's artwork down the years? So many truly horrendous covers seasoned with iconic ones... I guess, because he fell behind the curve in the mid-80s and spent the entirety of the 90s trying to get back up to speed again, that could possibly explain why some of the ones from that time look so dated (see Earthling and *shudders* Hours). As for the 70s ones: most of them I'm fine with, but you could probably explain away the ones that didn't work so well by pointing to the frequency with which he was knocking records out at that time. I mean, excluding that covers album, Pin Ups, which was just a cash-in and an excuse for him to record with his Spiders from Mars backing band again, he brought out 11 albums of new material between 1970 and 1980! So you can kinda forgive whoever was in control of that side of things, at that time, for maybe scraping the barrel a bit at times (see Diamond Dogs through to Station to Station). --- So you're properly getting into him now, are you? Your top 10 favourite tunes? (you brought it on yourself, engaging me in Bowiechat )

Your top 10 favourite tunes? (you brought it on yourself, engaging me in Bowiechat ) Hours is genuinely one of the worst artworks I've ever seen and "Buddha of Suburbia" looks a bit Robbie Williams for my tastes too - but I guess they're all made up for by Heroes and Aladdin Sane. Yeah...I mean, I've always loved his unanimous tunes (Life on Mars, Heroes, and all that), and I liked Blackstar a lot, but every time I tried to properly get stuck into his discography it never quite clicked. The other day, though, I gave Ziggy Stardust a listen and boom...it hit me. Had it on repeat all bank-holiday weekend - including right now (halfway through Lady Stardust)! I've got into bits and pieces from other albums too, but not yet tried them in full. I couldn't really give you a proper top ten if I'm honest, but my favourites at this early stage: Life on Mars (best song ever?) Five Years The Jene Genie It Ain't Easy Ziggy Stardust Heroes Sound and Vision Rock 'n' Roll Suicide Letter to Hermione Edit: And while we're here, what do you think of the new Doctor Who? I'm loving it, I think Bill is a top-drawer companion and Capaldi is just now truly hitting his stride. Right now, he could be the best Doctor ever! Edit II: I'm literally just looping Ziggy. This is my fourth full listen today...back to Five Years! Haha. Hours is comically bad. 2003's Reality is another shocker. Your man (and Bowie obsessive) Adam Buxton said something about it looking like the result of a 13 year old let on Photoshop for the first time, and I think he's bang on the money there. Ziggy was what did it for me as well. Those first four tracks, man... And you could make a case for the last three being the point at which the Glam Rock era peaked. I think Hunky Dory is my favourite now, but there's very little in it. It's difficult to say for sure; there's worth in just about everything he put out between 1970 and 1983. ... As for Doctor Who: I'm the same. I instantly loved Bill, and Pearl Mackie's portrayal of her, right from my first viewing of 'The Pilot'. I think Moffat and Co. have done well here in making the character reference past NuWho companions while at the same time still be noticeably different in quite subtle ways. It's like in last Saturday's 'Thin Ice', where she had her customary OK-so-this-ancient-alient-who's-taken-me-aboard-his-spaceship-is-actually-quite-dangerous moment: there was some great stuff there anyway, with - as you say - Capaldi fucking killing it ( case in point), but afterwards, when she's saying to that kid she's forgiven The Doctor, and their eyes meet across the room, that she sticks her tongue out at him in a mock-embarrassed way, rather than them just smiling at one another in a simpering fashion, was so nice to see. I didn't have any great problems with Amy Pond and Clara, but for a companion to come along and actually seem grateful to this strange creature for plucking them from their tedious lives and showing them all of time and space, is really welcome. And that idea of Moffat's to have Bill say all the things you'd actually say if you stumbled upon The Doctor and his TARDIS, has proved to be an absolute masterstroke. So far, I think "It's hidden itself as a box with 'PULL TO ENTER' on the front?" has been my favourite gentle piss-taking of the entire show that Bill has served up, but I hope for more to come in the next few episodes.

My son, Nicolas, was making his debut on Sunday at Neuillé-Pont-Pierre, just like the foal he was associated with, Envol The Best. Two competitors in front of him were hooked at the beginning. He did not move when he was in the rear. And, at the moment of the brake stroke, before the stands, after a little more than one turn, he went out to come next to the horse of the head, which is already not bad as initiative. After, he won the fight but sure enough. Of course, I was proud and very happy to see him win but I was not stressed and tense at all before and during the race, as it could have been. Everyone was there and it was very nice.-Jean Michel Bazire
