what exactly has Mourinho achieved? -Carling Cup (1) -Premiership (1) -- Premiership (2) let's be realistic and he's been knocked out of: 1 FA Cup 1 League Cup 1 Champions League and that's it. It's not a bad record so far. |

Well Shankly got us up from the old first division and made us the best in the country in the 60's and we held onto that until 1990. Mourinho never did that with Porto. They were already a half decent side when they took over. They were always top 4 in the portugese league. The only advantage Mourinho has is the Champions League. He's really good. But this Chelsea side is tainted with Roman's millions. Would Mourinho have won the league with the likes of Gronkjaer in his team?

Plus the way he deals with his players (in public; if they are left out and complain, he gives them the reason etc), and how he prepares for matches and training as well as the success he's had in a short space of time makes him a pretty damn good manager in my books.
And if my team was playing unattractive football but winning I wouldn't mind. Would you? And I'm sure he isn't too bothered that he's not a likeable man...if I was earning the money I was and getting great results I wouldn't be.
And theres bad sportsmanship in every single team. Be it diving or whatever, can't single out one person/team. If we're doing that how about Reyes? Diving idiot.

not only does he give the players reasons but he also INSULTS them in public....
when in a work enviornment, you keep things private. At your job, does the manager scream at you when you mess up? At school does the headmaster yell at a student? no!! The person is called into the office and they discuss their differences....
as for ppl not liking him....ur right, im sure he doesnt care....whats ur point? i was stating WHY noone likes him....so u just helped prove it slightly by confirming that he doesnt have too many friends...
The style of the football being played usually wins the games. Look at all the successful sides: Arsenal, Liverpool (80s), Man Utd (90s), Real Madrid (90s-2000s), Barca (current)....one thing in common: ATTRACTIVE, FLASHY FOOTBALL
AW is right when he said "football should be entertaining"....afterall, the fans are PAYING to watch it...if its boring, why not just check the score online, why waste time watching a poor display time and time again? (heh real fanatics as myself prob would still go to the games and such, but you see my point lol...so we're both half right on that one)
AW in his first FULL season won the Prem+FA Cup....is he the special one? AND he did it with v little money with a team that kept finishing mid table...so stfu...
AW has revolutionized football in england from diets to training to buying amazing young players and coaching them into great player and by playing the best football ever seen (most agree to that)
Oh, and where's the unbeaten season? you may have gone 40odd games w/o a loss, but thats not seen anywhere in the record books is it? shame that
Chelsea won the league this yr cos of Arsenal and Utd's mistakes. Utd are a team that seriously need saving. Arsenal are in transition. Theres a difference. Fergy is past it, AW is not. CFC Fans, next season or the one after that, Arsenal will be challenging again.
But to beat Real with that kind of team is fantastic.
And, as predicted, JM complained and blamed the loss on the red card....well Barca could have had 2 penalties (Gallas handball/Terry pulled over M. (w/e his name is).
In all fairness, Chelsea did do well after going to 10men, full credit for them scoring, but then Barca dominated, Ronaldinho started to work his magic
and, call me crazy, but i would indeed swap Henry with Eto'o...hes younger and damn good....and Henry has not been his usual self this yr...i still think he will stay tho...he's Arsenal through and through

Henry is arsenals BEST EVER player, and thats the truth, the current arsenal team are an average with a few stars, but he is different class, theres never been a striker like him with pace, vision and just pure brilliance, alan sheraer has scored just over 200 goals for newcastle, since signing in 96, many consider him to be the best premership player ever, well henry is about 10 goals behind him for arsenal, and hes been there 3 seasons less, had that on to the assists and dragging are arse for the past 2 years and the man deserves more respect that fuckin half wits than you coming out with that. Henry seems to be getting lazy. Alot of the Prem matches this season, esp recently, he doesnt do much....i dont know if thats bc: he wants to leave/distracted by the media/carrying an injury/tired/just not a v good season...
idk but its def one of his worst seasons since joining us
and he SHOULD NOT BE CAPTAIN....that was piss poor...hes not a good enough leader
Cole (i forgive him), Lehmann (crazy but cares), Campbell (before his fiasco) would all be better captains than Henry

Much of this Chelsea hating seems to stem from a hatred and jealousy of their success. United were everyone's whipping boys during much of the 90s cos they were on top, now it's Chelsea's time to take a bashing.
