For people who don't know, after the breakup of Oasis, one of the projects Liam attached himself to was a film-adaptation of the famous, 'Longest Cocktail Party', an account of the history of Apple Corps, and the breakup of The Beatles.
Liam even publicly talked the project up at the Cannes Film Festival in 2010, in a rather bizarre move, during the very early stages of the films development. It was announced soon after, that the pretty prominent British director, Michael Winterbottom would take the helms.
It got a bit more news around the 2012/2013 period when it was reported that Jared Leto, and Ethan Hawke, were actors that LG wanted to see in the picture.
So what happened to it? Obviously we don't know the exact reasoning but it seems possible/likely that Beady Eye's lack of success contributed to it 'not going anywhere'. Not to mention Liam's 2014 divorce eventually putting effectively a lock on his finances.

This project actually popped into my head recently and I had the same thought.
A lot of films fail to get past the pre-production phase, so given how volatile Liams life must have been post-Oasis it's no surprise the film never got off the ground.
It would have been really interesting if the film had come out and if Beady Eye or Liam had contributed to the soundtrack.

I forgot all about this to be honest and it's a shame really that it never got off the ground.
