I always assumed it was clever advertising for what would be on the next re-issue of the album, just to dangle the carrot so to speak about what was still in the vaults. They'd be crazy not to include these songs this time round. Hopefully sourced from the multitracks 🙏

I'm not a betting man, but here's my take on BONUS MATERIAL and the PROBABILITY of it happening for DM30: - New, unreleased songs from Noel's notebook - 0.00000001% - New versions of Coming on Strong / Lock All The Doors - 0.1% - Full version of All Around the World (Boardwalk) - 5% - Liam-sung full Sad Song - 25% - Unheard Liam-sung acoustic demos of DM songs of b-sides - 51% - Unheard Noel-sung acoustic demos of DM songs or b-sides - 75% - Pre-Owen Morris mixes of DM songs or b-sides - 90% - Columbia, Take #377 - 99% - Unheard live versions of DM songs or b-sides - 100% (Already got Supersonic) Columbia. The rehearsal from that day after the one from before that was released the day prior to that. With a cool outro on Les paul vs an epi

Everything besides the last 2-4 options- below 5% probability imo. I don’t think Noel wants to release Liam sung Sad Song or other b sides. Comparisons won’t be flattering to him. And All Around the World is a BHN song not DM Hope I’m wrong tho

No chance we will get The All Around The World early version, it would probably be in awful quality anyway, I’d love Sad Song Liam vocals but I can’t see that either unfortunately ,but if they include as many as they did on 20th you never know.

It would be great if those songs were officially released although not All Around The World as it's not from the Definitely Maybe era like someone else pointed out. I would be very surprised if we get any or all of the others though.

What % for the unheard Rolling Stones covers They, if they exist, seem to be our best bet at “unheard” stuff. But they’re supposedly Noel sung so that will piss people off. The chances of much unreleased (as in never even leaked) stuff with Liam singing is quite low I’d imagine. We know he didn’t sing Take Me Away or Half the World Away. Getting the Live Forever Demo and Sad Song with Liam on vocals would be great but it’s hard to imagine what else might be out there. I’m all for getting whatever is there from Sawmills and Monnow Valley but a lot of that has leaked. I doubt very much there are completely unreleased songs we’ve ever heard of. DM has been pretty picked over at this stage. A completely unreleased and unheard of song with Liam on vocals would be very unlikely. I wouldn’t be getting my hopes up for a brand new song in any shape of form. Monnow Valley Eden studios mixes of Sawmills (inc I am the Walrus) Live Forever Demo Sad Song with Liam on vox The rest of the Limelight gig Lock All the Doors and Coming on Strong demos officially would be nice although like Sawmills above we have them through other means. I don’t think these were ever re-recorded after the Real People sessions. The fact they weren’t played live in 93 probably means they weren’t. There are Shakermaker and Whatever demos which would be nice to have official versions off too. I’d be pretty happy with that! Noel mentioned acoustic versions. I’d be surprised if they had Liam singing but you’d never know. The Stones songs with Noel on vocals may or may not exist. Noel’s wording was ambiguous. It wasn’t clear whether he meant he sang on all the Stones covers or just Brown Sugar. - C: What's Sawmills Studio like? This is the studio were you recorded many Definitely Maybe tracks. Noel: The studios are on an island in the estuary of a river in Cornwall. You can only get there in a boat. In such conditions it's hard to do anything but to get things done. Those sessions were more productive than the Monnow Valley sessions, where we recorded 'Live Forever' and four Stones covers: 'You Can't Always Get What You Want', 'Gimme Shelter', 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' and 'Brown Sugar', with me on vocals. C: Where did those recordings go then? Noel: They're at home and I've got the only copy. That's why they don't appear on any Oasis bootlegs. Those covers will appear some day on an unpublished stuff album. - Liam did go on to cover Gimme Shelter with Beady Eye and Jumpin’ Jack Flash with Squire too. So there’s hope… 💋

The new Limelight Supersonic is probably the worst quality Oasis recording ever officially released. So I don't think sound quality is anyone's concern amongst Oasis management

Nirvana screw up their live recordings by using AI, so I'm afraid of use AI technology by Official Really!? Oh dear. I didn’t know that. Nirvana used old-outdated-poor AI stem technology, Jack Endino(who is Remixing engineer for IU30 live material) is worse than me about AI things. I don't know why they use poor AI. You can hear some artifact noise caused by AI, if you use ear headphones.

The 2023 love me do mix is phenomenal. But give me the Limelight release we just got over that shit any day!

Even though Noel and Liam don't care about it much, I kinda wonder if the marketing team has timed whatever Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary announcement for after the announcement of the Rock n Roll of Fame. In the off chance they get in, you'd probably want to market off of those headlines.

There was never a chance of them getting into the RnR Hall of Fame so I doubt it entered anyone’s mind. They’re letting the supersonic anniversary run its course first.
Sometime in May seems logical for an announcement and pre-sale if it’s being released in August.

I don't think their management is factoring that in at all. It's way too clever for them anyways. I've been saying at the start of May they will announce it. Bank 4 months of pre-sales to get another #1.
