Thankyou, I've just pre-ordered on Amazon and I wonder if they've got anything else of this release to pre-order?

Is there a new online shop on the oasisnet site? I'm trying my normal log in details and they wont sign me in, and I can't recover the password? Yeah, I'm having the same problem, it's a bit stupid really. By the way, the pink vinyl is available to pre-order on HMV's website.

OK thanks, if I get the cd version it'll probably be later on as I'm not in a rush for that at the moment. But the vinyls are different for me.

Heaven Knows is a recorded and unheard song. It is mentioned as missing in the liner notes of the Live Demonstration Tape reissue from 2014 by Mark Coyle along with Must Be The Music, Coning On Strong and Lock All The Doors… www.discogs.com/release/5586643-Oasis-OasisYou read a scan on the discogs link. I've already heard the leaks, but I'm still pleased that we will get an official release of Monnow Valley + Sawmills and maybe the leaks are not exactly the same as the stuff on the reissue. I hope the Columbia Sawmills outtake is like the leak though as I really love that the chorus isn't double tracked and only has Liam's falsetto. And I'm very happy that we'll get the Sad Song demo with Liam on vocals! I still really wish though that this reissue would also include the songs listed above that were removed from the Live Demonstration Tape reissue along with some other early unreleased Oasis songs like Take Me, Colour My Life etc. Add to that the Live Forever demo (Loco Studios) and All Around The World (1992). All of that along with Monnow Valley, Sawmills and Liam's Sad Song would have really made me go "WOW!!" Btw I wonder if Mark Coyle has more early Oasis gems in his archive besides Liam's Sad Song. I'm not 100% sure on this anymore, but I think years ago I read somewhere on this forum that Coyle has a tape of their legendary King Tut's Wah Wah Hut gig. It would be amazing if this gig were on this reissue as well. The little video snippets that are on YouTube sound wonderful. When I first saw this image I thought King Tut’s was a bonus disc!

I think the only one we probably haven’t heard is the sad song mauldeth road demo right? So fingers crossed it’s Liam vocals but I wouldn’t bet on it. Although not 100% of the Monnow Valley recordings are out there so there’s a slight chance there’s something new in those too. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, we only ever got Slide Away (which is the album version) and Bring It On Down (on the 2014 Japanese CD) from Monnow Valley. The other tracks from Monnow should be unreleased. The Sawmills outtakes (C&A, Slide Away, Digsy's Dinner) could be the same ones that we got on the Masters Safety Copy. We need a confirmation from the Oasis recording gurus on the forum Just from the sound of the tracks, from the Safety Masters, possibly the instrumental version of C&A and Fade Away (no lead vox) from the first disc are from Monnow Valley as they sound very similar to the instrumental version of BIOD (which we know is from Monnow Valley because it's pretty much the Japanese bonus track without vocals). Other than Slide Away, the other tracks from the Safety Masters seem like mixes of the Sawmills tracks because they've essentially got every little sound from the final LP.

This reissue is good. It's missing a couple of things but we already have them in other formats... so I'm not complaining that much. Monnow Valley is great. And Sad Song with Liam vocals. Yay! It's already better than what I was expecting.
I'm not sure I'm ready to spend €70+€30 of shipping for another reissue of an album that I already own in so many copies. I've stopped being a completist years ago. I might buy digital this time.

Mate they could release a full Anthology box set of all 7 albums plus outtakes and some wouldn’t be happy because certain tracks are missing, instead of enjoying something we get unreleased,I’m well used to it down the years.

It looks good and I like it, but I would have preferred it if they would have gone with what Michael Spencer Jones originally suggested and take the empty room as the back cover. I saw a lot of other outtakes of the cover photoshoot in the past and there were many great photos with the band. I would have liked another photo with the band on the cover better, because the empty room gives me sad feelings. I've said it before, but yeah I quite like what we'll get from this reissue, I've put the bar so low with what I expect from this management that I didn't even think they would give us something like Sawmills let alone Liam's Sad Song. This gives me hope for the future ^^ Still a long time to go until the release, over 3 months. I expected that the announcement will be around Liam's tour, but it's still a little earlier than I thought. I don't mind though as I'm always really curious and like to know stuff early.

Yeah, maybe for once-thru listen. But weaker mixes that weren't up to snuff isn't what I'd call "amazing" personally. Especially when there's much rarer stuff and unreleased songs from that era.

It's actually got me quite optimistic for the Morning Glory reissue, they know full well that it's the band's biggest-selling/most famous album so if they're prepared to give us a ton of demos for the DM anniversary I'm actually really excited to see what we'll get to commemorate WTSMG

Surely we'll get the Liam sung Step Out? That'd be incredible! There's a lot fewer demo recordings from the Morning Glory era compared to WTSMG and I get it cause it was recorded so fast but it's a shame really, any crumb of outtakes from that era would go down a treat with me

Given it’s got the Monnow Valley and Sawmills studios sessions (and the Liam sung Sad Song as the one big enticer), it’s better than I expected. I’ll get the CD, I’m fine with that. I really just expected a colour vinyl or picture disc or something.
I do wish they’d just chuck in all the bits we know exist that haven’t been released so we can enjoy them in our lifetime. Who’s gonna be around to enjoy the 50th anniversary rerelease? (Well, I will be but I’ll be 60…)

The one that made Bonehead cry on the tour bus. I guess we will get a version of Wonderwall played on the actual wall of the studio grounds. Liam Step Out would rock. Not sure how many demos they got. Noel always said the album takes are basically the demos polished up.
