69 voters so far. Average 6,8 points.
Seems fair rating to me. Personally I think it’s a strong 7.

It's a solid 7.5/8 for me. Quality vocals, drums and guitar all throughout the album.

To me it's an amazing album. - When I first heard Champagne Supernova in 1996, the 'why, why, why' is what got me hooked. It hit me hard. I thin the 'feels like this' line at the end of the chorus, has hit me more than anything from Liam since then. It is such a great moment in a song that just is so much fun with the upright piano. Love it so much. -Make it Up as you go along is genius and efficient. In 2:11, it has mean lyrics, whimsical lyrics, quirky melody, beautiful melody. - I never liked the Stone Roses but now I know it was not because of John Squire. Ian Brown's vocal, never drew me in. -Mother Nature's Song is very nice, didn't quite live up to the hype. - Interesting to see how they will play this live without a rhythm guitarist and keyboard player. It sounds likeit's just going to be a 4 piece. -Not a bad song on the album Love You Forever is my least favorite. All of this. It's a great album

Think it's absolutely atrocious but each to their own.
The last 3 Gallagher albums have been really underwhelming for me.

Maybe it’ll grow on me but unfortunately I don’t think this album’s for me. None of the songs are particularly poor but unlike the rest of Liam's solo career there’s no songs that stands out enough for me to take away. The difference in quality amongst the best and worst songs is pretty shallow but as a whole it’s pretty average. Regardless of any specifics that’s what ultimately sinks the album.
I’m not gonna do a full review of the record but here’s a few key thoughts…
Favourite Song: By a narrow margin probably ‘Raise Your Hands’. It’s possibly Liam’s weakest opener post Oasis but I find it to be the most likeable song on the record. Someone on another forum pointed out that chorus sounds like it’s missing a final line and I completely agree. The “na-na-na…” hook is a little annoying but one of the stickier moments too.
Favourite Moment on the Record: The bit of ‘Just Another Rainbow’ that immediately precedes Liam listing the colours of the rainbow.
Least Favourite Moment on the Record: Liam listing the colours of the rainbow.

No rating change for me still a solid 7. Hated JAR when it was released, warmed to JAR in the context of the album, back to hating JAR. Don't know what that was all about. One Day At A Time is such a brilliant little song, just wish it was longer. That's my main complaint that the songs could've done with a bit more length. And bass. Apart from Mars To Liverpool I'm missing the distinct bass parts we hear on his previous albums, like there's nothing here that comes close to the tasty bassline on One Of Us.

pretty average album. basically on par with liam's solo ouput, but without the lowlights, that make you wanna cringe. in total, the album is lacking these standout 10/10 melodies, that noel is still delivering after so many years every now and then.
raise your hands: 5.5
mars to liverpool: 7.75
one day at a time: 5.5
i'm a wheel: 6.25
just another rainbow: 6.9
love you forever: 4.0
make it up as you go along: 5.0
you're not the only one: 6.0
i'm so bored: 3.5
mother nature's song: 5.5

Crazy because where i live, cities run by communists are filthy, with high crimes and low employment rate. Probably is a different form of communism.

I'm 5 or 6 plays in and struggling to give the album anymore than a 6/10 tbh.
I really like Just Another Rainbow / You're Not The Only One / Mars To Liverpool (those three are easily 8/10 songs), but to me the rest of the album is pretty forgettable.
C'Mon You Know was better I think, and that album never really totally clicked with me either.

The album is great musically, Liam's vocal's are great, John's guitar parts and really all the instrumentation is great. I love the loose summery vibe of the whole thing.
On the other hand, the songs just aren't very good. Between the ropey lyrics and the very simple melodies, they all sound unfinished in some way, and with the short runtime, the whole album ends up feeling unfinished as a result. There are a lot of songs I enjoy but none I love. My favorite, Raise Your Hands, is basically COYK 2.0. And even though I like the guitar, the songs start to sound a little samey by the end.
It does sound really good though. So I'll give it 6/10.

No need to drag something out that doesn’t require it

5/10
At this point from Liam and Noel (or Squire for that matter), I’m not expecting masterpieces from either. Anytime we get a song that even has a slight spark to it, I feel lucky. I also enjoyed “Just Another Rainbow” when it dropped and liked, to a lesser extent, “Mars to Liverpool,” too. Outside of “I’m a Wheel” and “Raise Your Hands,” the rest is pretty flat and uninspired, bordering on being a pastiche of a pastiche. Not a terrible record, but not exactly one that I’ll remember enough to return back to.

I think its okay but I do prefer Liam's solo albums over it. I know some criticise the latter solo albums for its industry approach but they're never anything less that 7/10. And you're always guaranteed a few belters per album.
This album is 5 or 6, unfortunately it just doesn't alter my perception that Squire hasn't done anything of note since Love Spreads (and a couple of others off Second Coming). Not that I'm not willing him to, I think he comes off as a sound bloke having listened to him over the last few months, which has been great to hear given we very rarely hear from him over two decades.
Ultimately I'm not the target as I mentally check out of anything Squire/Roses related post-1990, the reviews are decent and for those maybe tired of Liam working with industry songwriters and bigger fans of Squire, I can see why its such a breath of fresh air.

Solid 8.
Gives a new depth to Liam's solo career and gives me a whole bunch of tunes to blast on my speakers when I want to have a good time.
