stretching the theories really thin in this video, i have to admit i do enjoy this guys content but some of it is so far out there he's clutching at straws,, and in my opinion Ian Brown is lightyears ahead of John Squire when it comes to songwriting and lyrics the guy made 7 studio albums and every single one of them is different. To this day they all sound ahead of their time and have aged like fine wine the mans a genius just a shame he's a bit of a crackpot with his conspiracy theories Recently been rediscovering those albums and they are excellent, much better than I remembered. Solarized especially. Is a shame about the road he went down but he remains a very talented songwriter. |

On the subject of songwriting and being someone that enjoys Liams solo work, I’m much happier that he’s working with Squire.
Do Kurstin, Wyatt have a better understanding than Squire of formula, structure and the the ingredients that make a good pop song? Yeah probably. Do they understand Liam and be as able to write songs around his voice like Squire? I don’t think so.
Kurstin and Wyatt have been good for Liam, they’ve pushed him to be a better singer by giving him songs he would never have attempted before but Squire will play to all his strengths, I hope anyway.
I would always rather Liam worked with someone like Squire even if the results maybe more variable.

I also think a journalist mentioned it but id have to look up the articles, may have been john robb? |

Is there actually any confirmation of a new song except Liam saying it on twitter? I know Liam would be the best source...but at this same time it's Liam on twitter, which we know ranges from the truth to the unhinged. |

I'd prefer if they just release the track as a surprise. I can't restrain myself from listening to preview clips and it's a much better experience to listen to it in full for the first time.
