The whole project is very clear a fan Service. Fan Liam gives his hero John a voice for his Songs. I think it's exactly the music all Roses and Squire Fans want to hear, maybe Not exactly what the Gallagher Fans like, but I like it! It's just Rock'n'Roll and not Radiohead Interpretation of a Oscar Wilde poem. I think that seeing the album as a bonus for Oasis and Stone Roses fans rather than a mainline Gallagher record helps relieve the tension that can be seen here.
As far as I'm concerned, I do enjoy Just Another Rainbow, but I don't review it as a cornerstone of rock & roll, just two of my favourite musicians doing a nice unexpected collab album. It's not gonna be the main event of Liam's near future, especially not with DM30 coming up
Yeah id go with that. It wont be, like, the most iconic collab album ever (no clue what id say that is!). But more a cool one-off opportunity , for two iconic indie rock figures to pool resources. |

Though one that springs to mind that i like was the album by Jimmy Page and David Coverdale. |

The biggest problem of this song is still the dynamics, the compression. Compared to Second Coming or even the 2016 Roses tunes, it shows. The recording is fine, but my oh my this is compressed to the max.

He's unappreciated in that regard far as I'm concerned. He's just not prolific so hasn't had the practice, but when he puts his mind to it he writes some good stuff that means something. |
