"Just Another Rainbow" is number 1 on iTunes in the UK and Ireland, number 1 on the US iTunes Store in the "Alternative Music" section and in the top 10 iTunes in Italy, Spain, Mexico.

It honestly sound pretty good after a few days, bar a few cringe moment. and the solo part is just amazing.

Seems to have been well received from what I can see. Still see the typical comments whenever Liam releases anything from those that aren't a fan, but it looks like it's gone down well overall outside of this forum where some are overly critical.

lol this is hilarious. Everyone I’ve played this for loves it. I can’t imagine we get any better than this. Yes it’s The Who, Beatles, Cream, Hendrix, with a more friendly Johnny Rotten but that’s the whole frigging appeal. If you don’t like it you don’t like stone roses and liam, which is fine but begs the one question: why are you on this forum? How many forums are you on? Liam has a reasonably busy summer coming up. I don’t see how he would fit the gigs with Squire around it. Hoping for an early spring release. |

I'd not seen the IG comments. Just had a look and yeah they are brutal. But IG is like that, might be the worst for just hating on everything. The Twitter comments I'd seen earlier looked positive. I've bought and loved ALL of Liam's solo albums, I'm a fan of Beady Eye and I've seen him 6 times live (soon to be 7) and yet I know that this isn't the best thing he's ever put out, far from it. I haven't got a hidden agenda and neither does anyone else, it's just personal taste and we're allowed to have them without being part of some kind of 'conspiracy' against Liam. I do love Noel's music too, as do MANY others on this forum but to automatically label all of them as 'Noel fans who hate Liam' is a massive reach. For the record I think the guitars are great and the vocals are great, it's just that the melody and the lyrics let the song down |
