Wonder when the official video is getting released. Why not on the morning of release!

Wonder when the official video is getting released. Why not on the morning of release! Exactly, what are the marketing people doing? No music video on day of release, no advertisement for apple interview, discovered on a music forum...bit of a weird approach so far.

It honestly sound pretty good after a few days, bar a few cringe moment. and the solo part is just amazing.
If that's album track, the better tracks could be very special

Comments from the Italian press: "Oasis legend and longtime solo star Liam Gallagher has teamed up with John Squire, one of the most influential guitarists and songwriters of his generation thanks to his time in the Stone Roses. The duo will make their mark in 2024 with the release of their first single together entitled Just Another Rainbow, already available, and other songs arriving throughout the year. In Just Another Rainbow you can recognize both John's guitar motif, with its immediately unforgettable psychedelic tones, and Liam's unmistakable voice, full of passion, personality and conviction." Seems to have been well received from what I can see. Still see the typical comments whenever Liam releases anything from those that aren't a fan, but it looks like it's gone down well overall outside of this forum where some are overly critical.

This song is shit. It would've been exciting 30 years ago. Now, this collab is just a wet dream for middle aged fans.

Hard to gauge. Comments on IG, twitter and here are majority negative comments on FB, YouTube, and from what I've seen on TikTok majority positive so bit of a mix overall, which is probably to be expected.

As long as Squire fans and Liam fans unite with some rock fans and appreciate what they propose, it will be fine in the end.

lol this is hilarious. Everyone I’ve played this for loves it. I can’t imagine we get any better than this. Yes it’s The Who, Beatles, Cream, Hendrix, with a more friendly Johnny Rotten but that’s the whole frigging appeal. If you don’t like it you don’t like stone roses and liam, which is fine but begs the one question: why are you on this forum? How many forums are you on? If you are cringing for the song believe me we are all cringing for you too

So what are we thinking? Another single in mid February to launch the album announcement cycle? Then a final single in April before an early May release.

Apparently you don’t, but we do. “As long as Squire fans and Liam fans unite” You don’t need to unite with others to like a song, do you?

Liam has a reasonably busy summer coming up. I don’t see how he would fit the gigs with Squire around it. Hoping for an early spring release.

I'd not seen the IG comments. Just had a look and yeah they are brutal. But IG is like that, might be the worst for just hating on everything. The Twitter comments I'd seen earlier looked positive. I like the song and can't wait to hear more tbf.

When I say it's shit I speak only for myself. You can still like it and enjoy it, jeez. One thing I'll never get about this forum is the worshipping of John Squire and Richard Ashcroft.

That Noel vs Liam debate is even funnier now that we know that Squire wrote absolutely everything 😅 Dude, you are really bad at trolling. It’s transparent and not even funny. Everyone who gave you bit of attention here, did it out of pity, like me now. Just give it up🙈

Those criticizing are made up of Oasis haters + Noel Gallagher fans who hate Liam. As long as Squire fans and Liam fans unite with some rock fans and appreciate what they propose, it will be fine in the end. This is insane logic. I've bought and loved ALL of Liam's solo albums, I'm a fan of Beady Eye and I've seen him 6 times live (soon to be 7) and yet I know that this isn't the best thing he's ever put out, far from it. I haven't got a hidden agenda and neither does anyone else, it's just personal taste and we're allowed to have them without being part of some kind of 'conspiracy' against Liam. I do love Noel's music too, as do MANY others on this forum but to automatically label all of them as 'Noel fans who hate Liam' is a massive reach. For the record I think the guitars are great and the vocals are great, it's just that the melody and the lyrics let the song down
