clyp.it/wympmh0u Alright, last time. An improvement on the last one but not perfect by any means. I'm sure it'll put you on while midnight though. X Thank you!

Love the music. Love the solo. Love the voice. Lyrics are naff. They are actually acceptable until he starts singing the colours. Really odd choice that. Hope the lyrics grow on me cos overall it's quality.

Yeah, I know the lyrics aren't great generally but that colours of the rainbow part is awful Mad that nobody piped up and said that's awful and to change it. Almost anything else would've been in improvement over that part.

I guess that was a pleasant listen, but I'm not really seeing a whole album here...I mean, where else do you go with Liam and Squire other than 10 more songs that sound like this?

Final opinions on the song after a few listens: overall I think Squire carries the song, Liam is brilliant but Squire just has that touch over Liam which I never thought I would say. Whoever thought Liam singing the colours of the rainbow was a good idea is an idiot haha, it just doesn’t fit in the song but thats only my opinion Overall i would give it a 7/10, hopefully their other songs will have more power to them

I don’t have a problem with the colours bit in a trippy song about rainbows.
Rather that some trite bollocks like Too Good For Giving up.

I've gotten past the colours bit now, I've even started liking it tbh. Love the "we've crossed the line" that follows it then the three minute instrumental lol.
Its a bit one dimensional but with squire saying he loves the variety on the album and how parts are very melancholic and liams voice makes you well up I'm hopeful there is lot more depth to come.

The band can definitely play and having real guitar work in a Liam song is great. There's not much actual song/melody for it all to hang onto though. Liam sounds a bit rough IMO. I'd say it's a decent enough album track but it doesn't sound like a single.

It will do well.

So what do people think would be a realistic month or timeframe for Liam and Squire to go on tour? Right after the Definitely Maybe Liam shows? Way later in the fall? This new song makes me want more!

It's not at all groundbreaking. But I'm not sure it needs to be to be good.
The lyrics are fun, if a bit cringe. The sound is safe, but not safe in a boring way. More safe in a cool, comforting fashion. I dig it.

About as relevant as an etcha-sketch but i like it (as I’m old).
I could imagine if Columbia went out 1 night, got pissed and had a tumble under the sheets with Ocean Colour Scene and Hendrix, 9 months later this time would fall out

Whine. Like the big single from the last record. This time he does something us Indie fans dream of. Getting squire out of the barn. And they whine. This is way more fun that later day oasis. That sucked. Noel was so negative. This is just fun. Rock music is for fun y’all.

Had a listen and i think its quite good. Probably a 7 for me. It does sound more like a Squire song featuring a guest appearance by Liam, but both sound really good.
I agree the bare bones of it is very simple, but they probably wanted to go for a safe approach first time round. His voice sure suits John’s playing style so I’m still all for this.

So far I like it but because Johnny deserved more of the last reunion with the roses. I'll give my judgement after the track is released in a few hours.

Really like it, looks of little cool bits which will only get better once we have the full quality version. Liam's voice is probably the best on a studio recorded song since Dig Out Your Soul which lifts it a lot as well. Superb vocal.

Wish there was a couple more "we crossed the line" parts before heading in to the solo. Love how he sings that.

Supersonic , whyp.it is a much better alternative. You can upload 320mbps MP3 quality to it, much better than clyp. You can upload as many tracks as you want, maximum 25MB a track unless you get premium. I personally use it myself.
