Thanks fella appreciate that!
First impressions
Love the guitar solo. Canβt stand some of the lyrics specially when Liam says all the colours.
But love the sound and vibe of the song. Really does sound like an oasis vs stone roses mash up as you would expect.

In an era of AI this is completely pointless. Sounds like someone just messing around and asking AI to create song that sounds like mix between Oasis and Stone Roses. Without emotions or strong songwriting or both if possible, we can get this using AI. But let's wait to hear whole song. How can you judge a song when you've only heard a very short clip of it.

First imp
Killer solo, tune is ehhhh... okay.
It's a teaser for the album, i'm sure there are better tracks. as said before, the lyrics are a bit cringe, maybe Liam is too loud in the mix too and the bass / Drums are a bit too cliche, heard that too many times. But the feeling should go away.
But yeah, THAT GUITAR

So... At first listen I can say that I am very satisfied. There are various elements that I wanted that fortunately exist in this song: I was afraid that the song might be repetitive but at a certain point it launches into a fabulous instrumental blues....His rasping voice is evident, and I hear influences from Stone Roses, Hendrix, Beatles and the first Oasis when they were still called The Rain. All this made the song much more dynamic and rock and luckily it manages not to be a banal song. Excellent choice to launch this as first single. We are finally on the right path and I believe that what I have always wanted can arrive, that is, a disc worthy of sound as a successor to Definitely Maybe. There will definitely be fabulous songs. Can't wait to listen to the song in excellent quality! It will arrive soon! PS: Thanks for this preview!

Only listening to the first 30 seconds until it goes live on Spotify. First impressions... Best 30 second intro since Wall of Glass

I don't like the melody, it's plodding the instrumental part is probably great tho (need a better audio for that)
p.s. thanks for the clyp

Really enjoyed that. The rainbow colours bit is a bit cringe on first listen, but I said that about the jedi lyrics in WMWN and I love that tune now, so I'm sure I'll get over it.

The feel and groove of the song is very predictable and cliche with the kind of Tomorrow Never Knows feel along with that Rain/Waterfall style bass. But that's OK, a bit overdone at this point for me.
Lyrics are gash and I was hoping from more variation and changes in the vocal melodies as it goes along, it doesn't really go anywhere.
Guitar playing is good obviously, it's John Squire. Nothing particularly unique or creative about the playing but played well nonetheless.
I still think there will be some good tunes on the album. This one doesn't do a lot for me though, just all a bit predictable.
Then again, being realistic, how much can you truly expect from one guy that's 50 and a guy that's 61. These people are getting old and peaked over half of their life ago. It's like getting a collaboration between Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton or something in about the year 2005 and expecting it to sound creative and cool and fresh. Not gonna happen.

This as a great track to have in the background at a party. It has pure 60s acid vibes with the drawn out solo.
It's very easy listening. Not sold on the color chart part tho.
Can't wait to hear it clearly

Weirdly feels like Liam is on the sidelines of this song. Squire's guitar which is immense overshadows everything else. Might change my mind when I hear it over the stereo.

No offense Diamond in the Dark, if Liam released Little James part 2 youβd say it was better than slide away. And βI believe that what I have always wanted can arrive, that is, a disc worthy of sound as a successor to Definitely Maybe.β
That's gotta be a joke, right... right?Absolutely not. Definitely Maybe is Oasis' rockiest album. The sound and atmosphere are raw but well mixed with the melody. This album could be the one that comes closest to those atmospheres. Species from the "Rain" period. Obviously it won't define an era and no current Gallagher album will be able to match what DM did, but sonically this album may be the closest to it.

After a few listens, I think it's a great tune. Predictably nothing groundbreaking but I like it. Hopefully it's just a safe first single and there will be a bit more adventure over the course of the album. Could have been a lot worse.

I've only listened to it a couple of times as I'm waiting for the official release at midnight so that I can listen to it clearly. My first thoughts I like it but it's a grower for me. However I'll probably change my mind after I've heard the official release.

It would've been among the best songs on SOTSOG I think, and since it's my favourite Oasis album (I know, I know...) I'm enjoying it.
The actual sound on streaming/CD will be a better way to gauge the quality of the song past the introduction though, it's hard to judge guitar solos on shitty recordings (thx for da leak by the way)
