I've said before I think it would be great if Noel let Jess sing lead on one oasis track, specifically mentioning Champagne Supernova. However, instead, I think he should use a cover to help make the female vocalists, more prominent. However, he can do it based on geography.

In the US, he should have done Heart of Glass by Blondie with Jess on lead. You should hear the instrumentation of Miley Cyrus' band (don't ban me), it would sound so awesome live if played loud. Have to admit, Miley's cover is awesome. It's one of my favorite songs from the 1970s and we know Noel loves Blondie

He could have covered, White Rabbit/Somebody to Love by Jefferson Startship out in the West. Again, Jess on vocal.

In Sweden, he can cover Abba (who he likes)

In Australia, he could cover his new touring friends, Garbage.

I know he's more into Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac but he could have Jess be Christine McVie

I think this would be a great way to connect with the cities he's touring in. Obviously a Joy Division cover, didn't work in the US and while the Quinn the Eskimo cover is great and the crowds got into it, I think there are many other covers that would connect better.
