Here's a rather obscure piece of Oasis-related history. I've been wondering for years if anyone knows more about Moondog One, the band that Bonehead formed around 2001. Here are some details that can be easily found online: From Drowned in Sound (21st Dec 2001): An extract from The Sunday Mail (28th Sept 2003) Apparently though Andy Rourke was no longer involved in 2003, as stated in this post on the Morrissey Solo Forums. Moondog One then was renamed to The Dogs. According to the Salford Lads & Girls club website, they've played a gig there in 2003: From a 2003 interview with Mike Joyce ( link): From a 2013 interview with Bonehead ( link): -------- As far as I know, only the one track mentioned above (" Moondog") was officially released - at least on promo CDs & 12". Someone has uploaded it on Soundcloud and you can hear it below. Has anyone got more info? Were other demos ever released? They used to have a website, which had a couple of songs to listen to. One was Moondog but I can’t remember the other one.
Would have liked to have heard more.
