You must consider:
-The timbre and performance of Liam's voice
-The performance of the band
-The setlist
Comment explaining why you gave that rating
---------------------------------------
My personal clarifications in detail:
-The timbre and performance of Liam's voice: Vote 10
I love Liam's voice from 2000. I know it's different and with less extension than in the past but his more rasping and imposing timbre excites me.
-The performance of the band: vote 9
The sound and performance of the band is much more accurate than in the 90s. They have gotten better but I don't know if I consider it a good thing or a bad thing.
-The setlist: Vote 6,5
I find the weakest aspect of Oasis 2000 is the setlist. Same throughout the tour, and with many important songs left off the list.

10 I was there and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Utterly mental.

10/10 in all respects ... and its made even better knowing the chaos that followed the next night. Hilarious. Perfect bookends.
Love the setlist fwiw.

Gave it a 7.
- The gig itself was OK, Liam's voice was still pretty good - The band was... alright... but still feeling their feet as a new incarnation - The drumming was absolutely awful (no hate here, I know why) - SOTSOG songs live were kind of dull - There was no real passion from anyone other than Liam. - It was missing that usual oumph (which we'd later learn that that feeling died with the band's original lineup)

Liam's voice is so deep and raspy here, I'd argue that it's one of his worst performances pre-Kermit. And I usually love the early 2000's rasp.
The performance from the band seems sluggish and tired, and the snare drum sounds awful.

I gave it a 7, only because the actual performance is different compared to the released performance (bar the dvd)

The drumming was absolutely awful (no hate here, I know why) The drumming was awful indeed. It was very uninspired, lazy and monotone. You know the reason? Feel free to share if you want to. Liam sounded ok, but "dry". That's the best way I can describe it. The band didn't feel very energized. A few highlights though, Gas Panic, Step Out and Acquiesce come to mind. Very average gig overall with a setlist that contained no surprises apart from Step Out.

Alan was suffering from tendinitis in the wrist at the time. That's also why they had to cancel the Barcelona gig during that tour. So he couldn't be as polyvalent as he usually was. That's why he was basically almost always doing the same thing on every song. It definitely didn't help the gigs. I agree with the rest of your post

Give it a 9.
I think musically it's one of the best. Gas Panic! might not be as adventurous as Rock in Rio or Barrowlands but structurally, esp. the mad double time bit is perfect to me. Cigs & Alc is probably my favourite of all time here, save for maybe the Barrowlands, with a ripper version of the Top of the Pops ending. Noel's playing is in top form, Gem and Andy sound tightttt and Liam's singing is phenomenal — the second chorus of Supersonic is probably the last time he sang that well, I'd say.
No idea what you mean about the drumming being awful. I think Alan's brilliant here, there's a lightness in his touch (esp. on the snare) where he's settled into his zone between jazz and rock really well. Supersonic, Wonderwall, Who Feels Love have some of his best grace notes and groove. Some of the quick little fills and dynamics are some of his best ever, and the tone of his kit / cymbals is killer. 2001 onwards sounds terrible to me, with those heavy rides and really pingy snare. I reckon it's tightttt
I think there could have been a couple of better setlist choices, but idk if I'm just used to how it sounds and if I discovered it now, would I be surprised at Step Out and HHMM and not think that. But, idk headshrinker or fade away or the electric Talk Tonight would have been great.
